Are we going to get stuck with an 11am kickoff in Death Valley?

CBS has another doubleheader that day... one at 2:30pm and the other at 11:00am.

Texas A&M at Bama will probably get the 2:30pm slot and State-LSU looks like the next best match-up.

Other possibilities include:

Arkansas at Carolina
Georgia at Auburn

Does anyone know if CBS gets the first two picks for BOTH of their doubleheaders? ESPN/2 will have primetime slots. Being on CBS is great and maybe 11am helps our chances to win, but it's still a dreadful time to start a football game, especially for those attending.

I would love nothing more than to play them at 11 am. That would actually really work to our favor.

One can only hope so, Jack. Are you kidding, that would give us our best chance at a W down there. Bring on the JP game!

I sure hope so

Always want to play @LSU at 11:00a. Hell, I wish we could get them to start the game at 9:00a!

If I remember right, CBS gets first pick for 2:30 and ESPN gets 2nd then back to CBS. Seems like in recent years, Ole Miss had an 11am CBS game that was picked 3rd in selection and we had an ESPN night game selected. Likely will be Bama-A&M at 2:30 and us on ESPN that night with Ark-USC at 11am.

That would be great. I guess I'm being selfish since history tells us they play better at night, but I always enjoy the evening atmosphere down there. Plus, I feel like we can hang with 'em either way...

I would much rather let our players just wake up and play. If we play at night it will give the fans all day to get drunk and rowdy and let that energy build, creating the night game atmosphere that Death Valley is known for.

Please don't tell me you are complaining about playing LSU in Death Valley at 11am? That's the best time to play them there.

This year I disagree. I think Mettenfucker crumbles under the lights tryin to do to much and feeding our secondary. I say being on Death Valley under the lights. We got the QB to get it done. Big time night game is not ideal for LSU's QB. You'll see when Bama stomps that *** under the lights.
