are we ignoring a local qb?

So much cope in this thread

Was painfully obvious how all this was going to play out a year ago

Those continuing to spin this into anything but what it was - a colossal failure by our clueless coaching staff - should probably find another topic to post about

Did he have any interest in Nebraska?
Do you fault the coaches for going after what everyone thought was a generational talent even if it meant missing out on someone else?

I dont fault Rhule for recruiting Dylan. I do fault him for letting himself be run over roughshod for 2 straight years by the Raiolas, resulting in yet another total reset in Year Four.

Had we actually given him the time of day (never did) and a going rate NIL offer, Thomalla would’ve absolutely - and very obviously - been interested.

It's not a reset!

I clearly said recruit millard souths qb, but was told no...
a walk on tight end at oregon was superior..

what we have here is a lack of communication.
Perhaps telling a bunch of anonymous people on a message board wasn't the wisest choice if you wanted the football coaches to recruit this player. I can think of 15 or so people who would have had a whole lot more control of the process.

Yep. Got anything else?
Not for you. Apparently everything football realated should just be brought up directly to the coaches. Which makes me wonder why you’re here. Unless you just want to see a big circle jerk, which wouldn’t surprise me

You get so pissy when people question Matt. It’s cute though. You’ve been his #1 since day one. Your ride or die

It has nothing to do with questioning Rhule, But to come back on a message board to brag to a bunch of anonymous posters how you knew something with 20/20 hindsight is easy to do. Just like all the people who told us in November that they "knew" Emmitt Johnson was going to be good. Even though from January to August they said he is too small to carry the ball and wouldn't be able to last a whole Big Ten season and that Nebraska needed to get a back in the portal.

Trae had 77 car for 633 yds and 12 TDs
Against better competition than Thomalia faced this past year. MS had a tremendous high school O line last fall. Not sure what they’ll put on the field this year. That makes a HUGE difference. I still say QB recruiting is a bit of a crap shoot.
