Are we the only school that self-reports NCAA violations?

The violation also reveal the recruiting office using illegal stickers.
Mississippi State sent out a "Junior Day" invitation. The back of the envelope was sealed with an "Elite Junior Day 2014 Official Invite" sticker. The contents were within the guidelines. The sticker was deemed a violation.
A table also got the Bulldogs in trouble. On Jan. 18, 2014 MSU's football staff set up a table in the locker room to display game equipment. The display table was determined to be a "special addition" to the locker room, and thus a violation.

Really??

Thanks Bracky Brett
, you are doing a "really great" job...

It's routine for all schools to self-report petty violations like that. Ours are just published in the Clarion Ledger every year because we respond to the public records request. No idea if UM & USM just don't respond or if the paper doesn't request.

There was a ton of publicity on South Carolina and their impermissible cookies last week, so no, you'll have to further that agenda with some other point.

Between the illegal cookies and stickers, my 2 year old would love being a football recruit.

So the rule is to self report anything not in the guidelines. Bracky sees something minor, does his job and reports them, nothing of significance happens, and the NCAA sees that we are at least attempting to look like honest recruiters.

Where is the problem here?

The attention some of you pay to Bracky is comical.

Deep says the swag juice can shaped cake is the biggest reason for our recruiting haul during the big dawg camp.
