Are you buying bowl tickets through Rutgers?

In my experience with Gator Bowl and away games, better deals and seats were had from other sources. IIRC, timing on receipt of tickets had some issues too for tickets from Rutgers.
Cool. It looks like the B1G team is on the 3B/LF side this year (odd years). Seems like they're on 1B/RF side in even years.

I’d gladly more if buying through Rutgers offers club seats as it’s good for the school

If no club seat options then I’ll buy off the secondary.

I’m all about supporting the school as long as I’m not freezing my *** off outside

Buy through Rutgers

Helps with Bowl selections and less tickets the school has to eat…
Honestly, with regard to how Rutgers has been treated thru the years I find no evidence of this. It is far more about who is local and can put seats in the stadium and getting "that name" . Rutgers should have no issue selling their allotment to this game.

I would certainly do it (and have always) for a trip far away but for this game I want to choose my seat(s) and and have no idea who is or is not coming with me yet.

Rutgers is offering 1/2 dozen pricing tiers with the cheapest being $45.

I don't have a moral issue with getting tix outside of RU, but I'm going through RU because I need 12 tickets together.

If you go under renewals on your season ticket account it's there. Application open through 12/5.
Thanks. I did go to the tix site but not to the right spot I guess. The pricing tiers sound interesting though..if only I could get my friends to %&%*& or get of the pot.

FYI..there is an 8 ticket limit per account so you may need to reach out to your rep ...just a heads up.

Also students will LIKELY be in the LF BLEACHERS again (then "likely" to the 300's down the left field line, like vs ND, IIRC).

For the game against Iowa St we got Delta suite tickets through Rutgers. It was great.

Will purchase a few days out depending on weather
20 degrees and windy or snow will make me stay home

Stayed until end of Mich st knowing it was an easy ride home.
Don’t even want to think about NYC traffic or train delays during bad weather

Oddly enough, due to other commitments my only chance at making a bowl game this year will be the Pinstripe. Will likely buy a few days out. Wasn't able to make our previous appearances in the Pinstripe Bowl - but I seem to remember hearing that the best sightlines are actually from the 200 level... Is this true?

The only bad (or just weird) thing about that spot is the lack of sound.

Have to go outside over the left field seats on a deck to hear anything.

200's, 300's, even lower 400's (I mentioned earlier we were in 430 Row 1 for ND and the view was pretty damn good).

And the Delta suites are in deep the Endzone. Poor view of the game on the field.

Not seeing tickets being sold in the 300’s or 400’s.
It appears Pinstripe is only selling tickets in Sections 200 or lower.

Seemingly we have a ridiculous deadline to order through RU of today (12/5) at 5pm. However, it seems that more ticket options are forthcoming from what many are posting in these threads and hearing. Is it better to get the tickets now or wait to see if other options are better and/or more cost effective.

How is everyone handling?

It's NOT a "deadline" to ORDER tickets. It's a deadline to use your PP's for your optimal seat selection.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Nuts. I am going to get the tickets one way or another. Just trying to figure out how best to handle.
