I see both camps in here about this coaching staff and football program. Which side do you fall on?

Do you think Moorhead & Crew have the ship pointed in the right direction and getting things in place for a positive run?

-or-

Do you think this coach and his staff are in over their heads and will slowly sink?

Pessimistic. I think the on field talent along with the players who are working and laying it out for the team are overcoming the deficiencies in coaching and discipline, reminiscint of some of the Sherrill years. Downvote away.

I'm always on the optimistic side when it comes to State. I still am. I hope we run the table. Things frustrate me at times, but I'm behind the team and coaches 100%.

I think it's too early to tell for either one. Joe is recruiting really well, so even if he's not HC material, we'll never be a sinking ship. I think we have the talent profile to be a consistent top 15 team with great coaching. I hope Joe is that. We had to go through A LOT of growing pains with Dan when he was a new coach.

As much as I was knocking Joe yesterday, I hope he is the man for the job, succeeds here and raises our ceiling.

Holding pattern until I see if they’ve improved against good sec teams. As in. Not getting embarrassed.

Firmly on the fence. But Saturday was a step in the right direction. He did a good job of playing to his offense's strengths and minimizing its weaknesses with a true FR QB.

Pessimistic. I mean do we do one thing good? When I watch our games, I say wtf are we doing at least 10 times a game. There is absolutely no excuse to lose 5 games last year or kstate this year

Cautiously optimistic, and normally I am an extreme pessimist. Yesterday gave me a little hope because the team bounced back from K-State. The injuries and suspensions threw a wrench in everyone's plans. I think Moorhead is still learning and trying to get into his comfort zone, too. He's doing a damn good job recruiting and coaching a relatively young team. I think as time goes by leaders will emerge and the team will continue to gel.

I am optimistic about our young talent and the offense for the most part. I am pessimistic about our discipline and mental preparation.

I have no read on long term results. I think Joe can be the guy if he improves team management and discipline. He obviously is knowledgable and his system has had success. He just needs to show he can consistently get the players ready for games and I will feel a lot better about Joe.

Optimistic for future seasons. JoMo wasn't quite ready for this job, but he is smart and knows his own shortcomings. He will figure this out, and he has the potential to take us a long way.

Unfortunately, I think once he has a 9 or 10 win season, some Big 10 team will steal him away.

Optimistic. His recruiting will continue to get better I think. He has a young QB that is really really good. I don’t know if you’re aware but a legit QB at any level of football can make or break you. Our hay day was with Dak... without Dak we have been nothing but mediocre at best. This kid Shrader has 3 more seasons with us. I’m not saying he’s gonna be leading us to number 1 but I believe in this kid. I think Shraders junior and senior year could be special. We will have some elite talent in the secondary, dline and on the oline during those years as well. I think the future is looking good. This year and the 2020 season has always been a rebuilding phase in my mind since Dak has been gone. 7-5 seasons in rebuilding years is great. Tennessee, Ole Miss and Arkansas would love to have those types of seasons in a down year

I'm an Eternal Optimist.

If we win..... Great!

If we don't...... I hope we win the rest.

That way, I sleep better at night.

I’m apathetic....and it pains me to be.

Iowa/kstate/KY/Florida murders my enthusiasm with extreme prejudice. will take several big wins to erase the ptsd.

I want joe to be successful, but right now we are less than mediocre. You can place that on injuries, graduations, or tutors.

Moorhead needs to do something about discipline. If he's not the guy to do it, he needs to hire a hit man who can also corch

This year (short-term): Pessimistic record-wise largely because of tutorgate.

Long-term: Cautiously optimistic.

I have not change. I think this staff is ok. Probably a few changes should take place. That's the case with every staff in second year. They are 3-1 with 9 guys suspended and numerous injuries. I will take it.
