The other turnover hurt as well. The fumble for six and pick six did us in.Despite Skaterbro running over us most of the night, that game was a lot closer than most remember. Hell, despite getting dragged in the first half, we only lost by 7. We were one questionable turnover by Shapen early and a failed defensive stop late from winning the game.
Supposedly, they have replaced him times 2.They lost the guy who made that offense go to the NFL. I know they supposed to have 16 starters back, but that running back was what got WR's open. If they can replace him they have something.
Well then, they have a Heisman Trophy winner.Supposedly, they have replaced him times 2.
Score wax 30-3 in 3rd qtr was it not?Despite Skaterbro running over us most of the night, that game was a lot closer than most remember. We did. Please tell me why again we didn't sell out to stop the run when the QB struggled to complete open passes
No we didn’t. We played 6 in the box most of the game. But Arizona State is a playoff team returning 17 starters. Anyone thinking we’re winning this game is delusional. We did.
This game is massive for Lebby.
On special teams you make adjustments during the week. Not during the game. Please tell me why again we didn't sell out to stop the run when the QB struggled to complete open passes
I like how you put this. We can score over twice as many points as them and still lose. That just makes them way more efficient LOLThey’ll beat us with ease.
21-48
I‘m actually really high on Dillingham and think ASU will be doing well to hang onto him, even if he is an alum. Yeah they lost Skattebo but they replaced him with an 1,000 yard rusher from Army. Also, we saw their QB on his worst day last year, he went on to have a very nice season and was only a freshman last year. 24-6 TD to INT ratio and threw for just under 3,000 yards. They lost two regular season games last year and one of them was on the road in a game where Leavitt didn’t play due to injury.
Is it totally impossible that we can upset them? No I don’t think so. But we will absolutely be the underdog. They won the Big 12 and probably should’ve beaten Texas in the Playoff, and didn’t lose much other than their RB who they seem to have replaced reasonably well.
I don’t think he is losing any of the other three non-cons. Beat Arizona State and we could have a respectable season.he won’t get fired for losing to Arizona State. Massive games for him are southern miss & northern Illinois. Lose one of those & he’s toast.
I don’t consider 0-8 in the sec respectable. I can’t come up with an sec win but it’s possible someone has a rash of injuriesI don’t think he is losing any of the other three non-cons. Beat Arizona State and we could have a respectable season.
What? No one expects us to win this game. We'll be 8-10 point dogs. This game is massive for Lebby.
If we beat Arizona State, I bet we pick up an SEC win or 2 as well (we’re not beating Arizona State though).I don’t consider 0-8 in the sec respectable. I can’t come up with an sec win but it’s possible someone has a rash of injuries
I agree.I don’t think he is losing any of the other three non-cons. Beat Arizona State and we could have a respectable season.
I know what you are saying Pat but look at the sec schedule and tell me which one you see. The knee jerk response by the fan base is Arkansas but they are going to be better than last year and in fact I pick them to be a surprise team.If we beat Arizona State, I bet we pick up an SEC win or 2 as well (we’re not beating Arizona State though).
I’m not saying we beat Arizona State and no one else. If we beat Arizona State, we will be 4-0. At that point I think we pick up one or two more wins in SEC play. Lose to Arizona State and 3-9 is likely.I don’t consider 0-8 in the sec respectable. I can’t come up with an sec win but it’s possible someone has a rash of injuries
Oh, we’re not winning an SEC game either. But ASU is a tougher game than any of the 3 you mention. If we win that (we won’t) we’re a better team than you or I think we are.I know what you are saying Pat but look at the sec schedule and tell me which one you see. Missouri and Ole Miss are the two best chances imo
I don’t agree necessarily asu is better than ole miss. I don’t think they could beat arkansasOh, we’re not winning an SEC game either. But ASU is a tougher game than any of the 3 you mention. If we win that (we won’t) we’re a better team than you or I think we are.
I’m not saying it’s a game he has to win or he’s in trouble. It’s called an opportunity: a CFP team from last year in your stadium. A win or loss wouldn’t surprise me. A win would provide a lot of momentum. What? No one expects us to win this game. We'll be 8-10 point dogs.

ASU-UM might come down to where the game is played. They’d beat Arkansas easily.I don’t agree necessarily asu is better than ole miss. I don’t think they could beat arkansas
I think u r paying attention to rankings. Arkansas O line taylen green Petrino would give them major problems. Arkansas offense should be explosive this year.ASU-UM might come down to where the game is played. They’d beat Arkansas easily.
ASU returns almost their entire 2-deep of defense. They’ll be better this year than they were last year. I do agree with you about Arkansas. They will be better. We’re not beating them either.I think u r paying attention to rankings. Arkansas O line taylen green Petrino would give them major problems. Arkansas offense should be explosive this year.
if u think asu would easily beat Arkansas then we should destroy Arkansas. I highly doubt that
Yea I’ve seen that imASU returns almost their entire 2-deep of defense. They’ll be better this year than they were last year.
I agree. They are not a top 15 teamTo those saying we can’t beat Arizona State:
They beat us by seven in Tempe last season.
They were a surprise CFP team last year. It’s possible they take a step back.
We were 2-10 last year. It’s possible we are better.
State beating Arizona State in Starkville is on the menu. It’s not guaranteed, but it is definitely one of the possible outcomes.
ASU had a 30-3 lead on us before some garbage time scores. That game was nowhere near as close as the final score.Yea I’ve seen that im
Not that high on them I think
They will miss skatabo they are 20-25 imo. I think they would struggle in the sec. Arkie would give them a lot of problems. Compare the scores last year. We played them fairly close. Arkansas blew us off the field
