Figueroa just isn’t going to work at 133. He really seems to struggle with the taller wrestlers. Seems like a broken record every match this season, quick takedown, then get pushed around all match.
Agreed. He's just outmatched at this weight. Larkin was huge in comparison
Manville is super tough. He wasn't too bothered by Vega's length, he's used to dealing with the Larkin bros. Good win for Serge
Yes, there's no need. I speak with his former coach all the time who says the issue is he's not a 33 pounder. But he's a 5th year senior. He should be able to wrestle competitively there.

I would’ve had the same assumption for Swid but if that were the case, I’d have guessed he would have wrestled against AF. I’m sure it’s some combination of seeing what you have + keeping guys engaged + load management + everything else I’m too dumb to consider

Agreed. Merrill is looking better all the time. When he has high energy and pace, he is a factor at this weight.
Competition level lower this weekend. Merrill is going to find it difficult to separate score against a tall lanky or beast of a brute top 15 wrestler. He faced both at NDI lost to the brute which will always be difficult if said wrestler refuses to shoot.
Any chance Robideau could go 49 and Routledge 57? I know John would find a way that doesn't mean it's a good way. I do trust the DT plan but trip Rs could be a fun lineup dont ya think?
He was 3-1 at NDI and barely lost to a guy that looks pretty good now.
Hes also beaten two other Top 25 guys…and seems to be finding a little groove.
Agreed. Manville is an AA contender this year. Solid in all positions and seems to have a good gas tank too.

Robidoo is doing well, not sure I’d upset that but I also don’t know how easy that cut would be?

The crazy thing is we have the wrestlers for 12 champs if we can just squeeze em all into the lineup.
Highly doubt Landon certs said he could go 149 this year. And i highly doubt we ever see that. He will be a 165 before he's a 149
