Arkansas doesn't have anything to lose in this game.

They will probably play loose and try just about any crazy damn scheme. At this time of year teams usually attempt unorthodox schemes against State and we usually fall for it. Wish I could be more positive.

I think if we went up 2-3 scores in the 1st quarter they would roll over

At this point they're just ready to get the season over with. A couple of quick scores and I think the air comes out of their sails. John L. is a dead man walking.

Man I swear some of you guys, attempt to dream up scenarios that we could lose, they way if we do you can just tell everyone, I told you so. It's really a ***** attitude because it shows your fear of becoming emotionally attached to winning. You say this crap because your too weak to actually get your hopes up that we may win, and therefore use it as a crutch to lighten the heartache.

The truth is that Arkansas has had about 7 straight games with nothing to lose and have failed to do anything. Including a loss at home to OM, the same OM team that lost at home to Vandy last week. The truth is that Arkansas is so poorly coached that even if they attempted a trick play they probably wouldn't line up correctly and it would be called back.

This weekend is a must win and I expect to. Mullen has led me to believe that. I hope our players feel that same way I do and not like you.

In a way you have to feel sorry for Tyler Wilson and Cobi Hamilton. Two absolute studs on a team with a lame duck coach surrounded by guys who have just seemed to have given up.

I agree, I see them rolling over if we start hot. I'm predicting a 10 point win for us.

Every time Arkansas has gotten a little bit down this year, they've just rolled over and died. They sometimes come out playing pretty good in the 1st quarter, but once they get behind, it snowballs real quick. It happened in the Bama game, the A&M game, the UM game, and the USC game. Once they got behind, they quit. We just need to withstand them early, get a lead, and then we'll win easily.

If they would have beaten South Carolina, I could see them coming to Starkville and playing loose but after the loss last Saturday they are ready for the season to end.

Your first paragraph is a ****** one. I want to agree with your second and third paragraphs. This is a message board and people post on it.

UPig is, by far, the worse coached team in the conference...

...yes, even worse coached than Auburn. The only thing I fear about UPig is our crappy defensive schemes allows them 2 quick scores & we have to fight back down 14 points. With UPig, if you are patient, they will kill their own drives with penalties. If Russell takes control of the clock early, UPig is finished for the day.

One more loss and they are out of bowl contention. They won't be loose, they will be playing hard. The problem is they lost their coach and have been in the ditch since.

If the playcalling

that I've seen all year long on offense for them continues, I have no doubt we'll win. They have made some absolutely ridic calls all year.

explain why they will want to extend their season and go to the Birmingham Bowl instead of just ready to get John L out of Arkansas and start over...

I doubt the players are really looking forward to 4 more weeks of practice. Not that the new coach would be able to get that many in to begin with. Like I said earlier, they've been very consistent the whole season. Start out the game playing reasonably hard and roll over at the first sign of any adversity. I can't see this week being any different. If we let them jump out to a lead, it will be a close game. But once we get the lead, it's over.

The only mental side of this game from Arkansas is they expect to win this game. Yes, they expect to win. We have the word Mississippi across our chest. Therefore, they think they are better than us. Yes, I am serious. So, they will be confident. But like it has been said, score a TD 1st possesion and they will start doubting themselves.

It seems to me that it would be very disappointing if we don't win this weekend...that would be a big loss because we have a "golden opportunity"..as Jack would say.
