We heard a lot about how Arkie State was a solid team could play with big boys. They are getting killed by SMU.

Baylor>Ohio State by this logic. And no, I do not think Arky St. Is any good. Nor do most, but your imagination and tendency to lie can take you a lot of stupid places.

Not trying to defend Arkansas State in Nebraska's honor, but Chad Morris was Dabo Swinney's OC for 4 years at Clemson. It's been an uphill climb but he is turning around SMU and is 3-1 this year.

Anyhow, I don't know what you're trying to accomplish with this post because we're an average football team at best.

Thanks for your truth. Crazy how some look for negatives. I guess Liberty is awesome since they beat Baylor and Baylor played OU tough.

Ark State benefited from us having Oregon on the schedule the next week. This horse was beat to death a a couple weeks ago.

So hard not to be critical of this, because this is classic Tom.

NIU is a patsy. Rutgers is a patsy. Arkie St isn’t very good.

It feels like all you are doing is starting these little flyby threads to remind us all, when we struggle against these teams, how bad we are.

News flash... we now know how bad we are. We don’t need you posting these just to see who responds... started the thread 2 hours ago and haven’t posted in it again.

Maybe it’s all innocent and I should give you the benefit of the doubt, but it’s hard...

It's called reality. But this board has been filled with people over the last four weeks talking about Arkie State and NIU and how good they were. It's just reality. Maybe Oregon wins big and that loss won't seem so bad. But I don't see you contradicting any of the folks who said, "Hey NIU are giant killers?" or "Arkie St. would be a lot of Power 5 teams."

I think people need their expectations in check for this year. It is in high likelihood is going to be historically bad. So it's not trying to be a wet blanket , we won today and have a shot next week but in my honest opinion that's it. If the defense continues to improve and we can hold scores down is our best case

Why do you choose phrases like a lot of or filled with? There certainly were some, but you create this strawman in every debate you make.

What is really funny is you think you are sly, but this site is filled with lots of posters that see right through you.

I didn’t know I was supposed to contradict those posters.

My absence from those threads tells you all you need to know about my stance on those schools. I am not pretending we are a great team.

You are the one pretending we are going up against the sisters of the poor and should win going away, when most smart posters now know we are a bad team and any victories we do have will be down to the wire victories with no easy wins.

But you keep posting this way to build an argument so that when we continue to struggle you can say how you knew Riley was a bad hire, look how bad we are.

Stop beating around the bush and just say it.
