This is a huge win for the Armstrong program ! Great to see what some stability and investment in these programs can do for the city schools !
On the other hand Goochland seems to be on a bit on downswing . . .any insight on Goochland ?

I don't know a ton about Goochland but from my understanding they are very young this season. Should bounce back next season.
1. It is refreshing to see them playing schools on their level (attendance wise)

Definitely not a surprise, I was calling thus all week. That Armstrong team has some real talent at all the right places.
Many forget that Armstrong played Highland Springs very tough the year prior to their 4 year title run. Think it was like a 46-38 style game against Greg Dortch, Kevon Wallace, Tank Scott and Loren Johnson. Nonetheless, there’s lots to be proud of on Cool Lane.
I don't know if you have heard this but I was told that beginning next season the city schools will play one another so that should only enhance the their programs playing schools more their size.
