Seems like a damn yearly occurrence, but live over here in Gluckstadt, came home today and my neighbor and I have them. Just a heads up wherever you guys live. I’m about to go straight Astro-Turf (17 HOA)! Had the same scare last year but .. nothing serious. Any-whooo just a cautious heads up.

I thought the universal pesticide for army worms was Dales? I been wasting all that goodness in a bottle all this time?
Don’t have to worry about army worms in my yard. It’s already brown from no rain since June.
ive learned that if you put pelletized Bifenthrin about mid summer that will keep the army worms from coming in later.....i used to get army worms so bad that when you looked at the grass you would get dizzy.....the Bifenthrin thing worked....and I wouldn't pay anyone to come spray your worms....you can buy just about anything from the co op and spray them yourself.
I'm at the point that I really don't care if I get them or not. Saves the time and sweat of mowing for the rest of the year

Agreed. Plus, last time I got army worms, my bermuda rebounded and looked the best it ever has. Just gotta "suffer" for a couple of weeks until they move on.
