Today's sobering statistic I wasn't aware of:

"its first three-game winning streak to end a season since 1974"
Wow.

Damn. Did Hugh Freeze write that? There was as much info about Ole Miss as State.

Good read and got me thinking about SEC Coaches ...

and their relative 'HOT SEATS' and I went and looked at the 'Coaches Hot Seat' Site (http://www.coacheshotseat.com/CoachesHotSeatRanking.htm). While I don't always agree with their rankings, it is a lot less emotional than my own opinion.

I knew that Muschamp was 'hot,' I was totally floored when I saw that Saban is listed as #5 'Hottest' seat in the country. Three SEC Coaches in the top 10.

Here is the list of the SEC Coaches ...

I caught that too. As big as the Egg Bowl win was, and it was huge, the win over Arkansas and the domination of Rice has a lot to do with the current level of optimism. That and 18 starters returning and a more favorable schedule.

You can add Sumlin to that list next season. Without a superstar QB his team will look like Houston when we rolled them in 2010.
