Not a Steeler fan, but living in central PA know many. I cannot understand why they waited until the last draft to get a QB.
Will probably need to draft another QB, because Pickett will probably be wrecked playing behind this O-line
This ^^^. The Steelers have a lot of issues but the need for a decent replacement QB was obvious for years as Ben moved toward retirement and it just wasn’t addressed.
That said, their D today is atrocious. Receivers are wide open with 39 on the Steelers (?Fitzpatrick??) being torched over and over. Tackling is beyond poor.
Looking at 3-14, and I am being kind. I know the owners don’t fire HC’s but the time has come for a new face
It’s a foregone conclusion at this juncture. Absolutely pitiful defense, if you can call it that.

On the other side, if Buffalo doesn't stop with the QB being the leading rusher it's going to come back to bite them.
He's their leading rusher for the season. That is not sustainable.
It’s going to take a few drafts to rebuild the roster. Even if they pick in the top 10 next draft, it still won’t be enough
The TE's don't suck...the WR crew is talented...but, who are the Steeler LB's?
If they just drafted offensive e lineman this year then they could have gone after Levi instead of a Pitt guy. Damn!!
I'm pretty harsh towards Pickett, but in fairness he matched Allen td for first down.

Ben bailed out Mike Tomlin and the Steelers many, many times. I have always told my wife that Tomlin will suffer his first losing season the year after Ben retires.
QB with their first round pick. Pickett isn’t a top-end NFL QB the way Big Ben was. They clearly need to find that anchor to build around and rarely get to pick as high as they will next draft.
I think the last time they picked that high, they selected Ben, no? I know picking QB with consecutive firsts is a bummer, but it’s critical they get it right.
Another option is to trade down and collect more draft picks. That could give them more chances to replenish the roster.

The Steelers need a lot, starting with an OC that has an NFL mind and an OL coach.
I know Watt is a great player but I wonder how many draft picks you could get for him?

Yes, but look at what the Giants are doing primarily with their run game. This young offense now needs to feature Najee.
IDK, I think Najee is hurt and even if he wasn't I don't think the current Steeler OL could do anything for him. And then he also has Matt Canada calling and designing plays for him.
With QB's Stroud, Young and Levis at the top of the board, it will create a solid trade opportunity for Pittsburgh to drop from a top 5 pick down a few spots to get an extra #1 plus some. They need a plug and play OL. Doesnt matter if it is OG or OT, they need help. I wouldn't be against getting a DL like Carter or Bresee or a CB like Ringo early in the draft but then pick #2 MUST be OL.

Well here's part of the problem.
Like on the TD pass when Fitzpatrick had great coverage and the QB and WR made a perfect play? Steelers have a lot of talent issues.....#39 isn't the problem.
