As I've been reading through the board this week one theme seemed to dominate.

That theme being most of you have already forgotten about the great win this past Saturday and have moved on to finding rage in anything regarding MSU. Not just finding it, but openly seeking something to be pissed about. Its as if some of you are so stuck in the mentality that unless we are getting **** on, something isn't right in the world Whether it be game times, rival posters or laws of motion as it relates to offensive linemen. Hey, it sucks we lost Day for the entire game. But damn, dude should have better sense than to do what he did. He got caught, got suspended, now it's time to move the hell on and quit bringing it up.

I agree. The only thing that worries me is how critical he was to calls on the OL. He seemed to be the one barking assignments to the OL.

I am typically a slow guy to anger over anything but I have to admit this deal

has really pissed me off and I'm not over it yet but I will get there.

I agree. Just gotta be smarter.

Truthfully, the loss of Day stings, but it's not a deal breaker. Whoever replaces him will be rather experienced (Beckwith or Muniz), the game is at home, so there shouldn't be much issue with crowd noise and snap counts, and we have two weeks to prepare with the backup.

I think I'd like to see Beckwith at OC and Clayborn at RG.

^. I'll feel much more comfortable with Beckwith calling the protections than anyone else.

Couldn't agree more. Huge win last Saturday and the suspension is just going to make the team play with that much more of a chip on its shoulder against A&M. This is going to turn out to be a very special season for us. Let's enjoy it at least a little bit.

For people that spent an inordinate time complaining about the way the game ended, I agree. But being pissed that your team gets treated differently by the league than the haves, and it costing you a starter in a top ten matchup at the one position on the line where you aren't comfortable with your backup, is not "openly seeking something to be pissed about". We are going to play the league leader in sacks without the person that normally qb's our Offensive line, and the most consistent person at snapping the ball in the shotgun formation (which we sort of use a lot). We were 17ed. Next to Dak and Josh Robinson, I don't know if there is anybody on our offense that we are more ill prepared to lose.

And Day didn't get caught. There was a fairly normal late hit; nothing that would warrant a suspension. And a very questionable looking incident, but where there is no way to really know whether it was intentional. It's ludicrous that the second so called 'stomping' incident is even being discussed.
