No, Russell is not going to beat anybody running the football himself. However, he can still run the read option and make the defense pay if the end bites down on the back. All we need is 5 yards on average from him and that will be good enough to keep the defense honest on that play. He isn't Cam Newton or Chris Relf, but he can still run to SOME effectiveness. He's not Peyton Manning trying to run back there.

2 INT's and 10 points LSU

We need to run the ball with Ralph and commit to it right now...our playcalling with Ralph is ****- we are not helping him be successful

Russell's no FALCO, but if Ralph keeps running and they key in on him they will light him up like they did on the first drive of the second half because he can't throw.

tonight he has thrown the ball well. when he has unblocked guys hitting him he is not as accurate. our o line is getting embarrased when they blitz just one. Tyler is more than ready, much more so than Relf. Was he ready on the first drive Coach?

needs to take all our coins and paper money and go find a high school quarterback that has it all and give him the whole bag.

What the hell is your point? That if an entire other play had happened, then something different would have happened? Wow, way to be bold with that one.

Try to stick to reality, you know, what actually happened instead of what could have happened if we had done something different.
