..But some of these post are 17'n hilarious lately. We blast Ward for going to Mississippi despite a great chance at playing time because they have no talent returning; yet say we have a great recruiting edge for basketball next year because any PG or post player that comes in should have immediate playing time. Then rumors from Walgreen's employees circulate the web regarding our next coach and they subsequently turn us down therefore they are pieces of **** that don't know a free throw from a field goal. Stop hanging on every twitter post from beat writers from D'Lo and just wait patiently so you don't blast every prospective coach because they turned us down even if they weren't offered in the first place.

You can go from doormat to Final 4 with one player in basketball. See Larry Bird, Indiana State. Ward is going to play 3 years at Ole Miss and will be lucky to go to a bowl game.

I'm pretty sure Ward was criticized on here because he made a public statement saying he wanted to be apart of a winning school and not one that is rebuilding and then he went to a school that won 2 games last year. I doubt many blasted him for wanting to play early.<div>
</div><div>Also, playing early is different in basketball and football. For the most part, it's easier to get early playing time in basketball because the physical size/build discrepancy between high school and college doesn't make as big of an impact.</div><div>
</div><div>Your analogy is apples to oranges.</div>

Some people have lost all objectivity and are so butt hurt when somebody doesn't go our way. Hell Greg Hardy had 14 decent plays his entire career and yet was considered an elite DE his senior year despite seeing the field twice in the last two years. You put decent numbers as an SEC DL you will get recognition, no matter where you play.

That I think sums up ole miss sports in a nutshell. What once many thought was a kingdom was nothing more than a house made of swiss cheese that mice have fiested repeatedly on the top floors, and rats have demolished the foundation.
