Once upon a time this was a close series. Crest has won the last 14 though and the score has been getting out of hand in those.
Ashbrook has to get the QB situation figured out. They have a freshman who can spin it, but isn’t quite ready yet.
Crest might get some added depth on D Line this week and more depth to WR rotation..we shall see
Heard from these Gaffney folks that the WR is the truth on the field.
Watch his highlights and he is physical!!
He's told coach to use him where he's needed most. Looking forward to seeing him play. All 5 o-linemen graded out vs Shelby. Hopefully we see these young men continue to grow and improve. New season with con play starting up.
Excited to watch this young group of players the next 2 years. Reminiscent of the 2003 championship team. Bunch of Sophs and Juniors
How good is the defensive tackle from Gaffney? What year is he and the WR?
Awful quiet this week. I guess the huge win over Shelby wore us all out. Next team goal is on deck, conference play.
Ashbrook has given Crest tough games in the past and I expect this one to be no different. Ashbrook has a solid running game with a huge OLine and (from what I’ve seen), a really, really good running backs, #4. They don’t throw a lot, but when they did against W Meck, the QB #3 was pretty good. The weakest part of their offense was the center snap. He rolled several snaps. Crest will have their hands full on defense.
Ashbrook defense looks big and fast. Crest OLine will need to have another good game to protect Huskey and give him time to find his receivers.

Was looking at the stats. 9 of the top 10 yardage leaders for Crest are Jr's and Soph's.

They lost to TC Roberson. Worst of all Ashbrook didn't score.
We have issues with big running backs at the present time. That’s what I meant. And you saw us we’re on the small side. So you just never know.

Carmelo Bess is the RB for Ashbrook he is a load.. Crest must improve on run defense this is a good game to start..
The Crest JV team is a fun bunch to watch. Lot of skilled players and a QB that throws it really good. Defense is strong at linebacker, safety and nose. I hear the Crest Middle team is loaded so the next 4-5 years should be really exciting to watch.
Yo…this new kicker is 3/3. This is a shining moment. Get this man a plaque this week.
Good game tonight. Won 33-17. Ashbrook run game was hard to stop in the first half. Their O line was huge and was blowing us off the ball at ease. RB Carmelo Bess is a really good running back. Quick, shifty and strong. He got 150+ yds and a TD. Crest Coaches made adjustments to the Defense mid 2nd Qtr. and we shut them down the rest of the way.
Offensively Crest moved the ball primarily thru the air with a couple runs sprinkled in.
Javarius Green with 2 TD catches and a punt return for a TD. QB Huskey threw 3 TDs and led team in rushing.
Best part of the game was the Chargers have found an xp kicker. Soph Nick Sanchez made 3-5 xp tries.

Nick Sanchez(soph) did a good job kicking last night. Hope Deshun Corry #88 injury isn’t to bad, he was solid at DE. Defense looked better in second half when Derek Mitchell got back to his MLB position in 2nd half
Mitchell is fun to watch. He’s the glue.
