goes to Titan's games all the time. He will send it tonight when he gets home. I'll post it and it can be pinned to the top or whatever to get the jump on the ACC fans hopefully.

edit:

Here is a partial list he sent me.... he's looking for the rest. Captions have been added for description

Hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown

(615) 891-6000

http://musiccityhotel.com/

Pretty swanky place.
Has a bar that had music 7 nights a week. Easy walking distance to LP
field and stuff downtown. Very nice
upscale place. Around 260 a night.

DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown

Just around the corner from Hotel Indigo. 4 star hotel but
not as nice as the Hilton or Indigo. Still in walking distance to everything
you want to go to downtown and LP field.
Hilton Brand for what that’s worth

Less quality than the above two, but much closer to Ryman

Further from the field but still walkable. It’s still a Mariott hotel though so there
should be quality.

Here is where the UM folks would stay, or at least to claim
to have stayed, if they somehow become bowl eligible again. Best of the best in Nashville. This is Ruby
Hall where the other hotels are Suttle. This is Swalm compared to Dorman. Petty’s BBQ versus a McRib. Ritz is a just a
white trash cracker inside the door of this joint. Stay here is if you wanna
blow some cash and drink your tea with your pinkie finger extended. If you have to ask how much, don’t look. But seriously it’s high but not out of sight.

Its on Union Street. $300 a night pay when you stay. Be ready to pay anywhere $250 - $400 if you get a room in the downtown area.

It'a liitle more expensive, but it's one of the closest downtown hotels to to the stadium and it's right off Broadway, where the NYE party is held.

Got to try south street (S 20th st. near vandy)

http://www.pansouth.net/southstreet/

Also, mafiaozas (off 12thnot far from Belmont) is cool for pizza, pasta, & wine.....has a cool bar area and outside. Actually this place has something for all crowds (family, single, students, etc). You will see several places off 12th that you might want to try (12 south taproom and grill) as this has become the trendy area for belmont/vandy kids.

For hotels that won't cost you and arm/leg I'd check out Hampton Inn on elliston place and west end/vandy. Marriott Vandy is good/reasonable if you want something nicer.

The good thing about staying in this area is that at some point your gonna want to leave down town....and its only about ~20 blocks away.

More up scale but defintely another option. I ate at the1808 Grille andthe food was awesome but I have not stayed there.I forgot what this place use to be but it was rentivated about 4-5 years ago and is very cool/nice.It's off westend near the vandy area but close to the west end/broadway split....in good weather you canwalk down town from here in 20-25 mins.

3 Blocks from Broadway. Cheaper and just as nice as the Hilton. Besides broadway bars - Tootsies, The Stage, Flying Saucer has more beers than you can count, Big River Grille is good too. San Antonio Taco Company and Taco Mamacitas also good cheaper Tex-Mex

This looks to be one of the nicer Red Roofs and its in a really good area (pets stay free and we'll be traveling back up from my in-laws in AL with our two dogs). Works out great as we're going to the game and then the wife gets to do some shopping on New Year's Eve. Looks like there are a lot of really nice restaurants in that area as well.

It is literally at the stadium so no need for parking passes or driving at all. Its not 5 star but didn't see any negative reviews either. I just booked a few days ago, got it for 400 total for the 30th and 31st. It will be nice to just drag the tailgating stuff about 100 feet and not have to worry about parking.

Stayed there on business in April. They just totally remodeled.

However, if anyone asks or is thinking about it, stay away from the Mainstay

Last year we all assumed we were going to the Peach so I bought airplane tickets and made reservations in Atlanta. Then we wound up in the Gator which cost me some change fees on my airplane tickets. Don't lock yourself in until we are SURE of our destination.
