Go watch the video of the reentry/splash down. Thats some cool stuff.
Yeah that has got to be tough on their bodies.I’m interested to hear how they are physically being up there that long in space.

I'm sure they're fine. Lot's of astronauts have been in space a lot longer than they were.I’m interested to hear how they are physically being up there that long in space.
This is my question on the deal, they went for a week, overstayed their welcome by 9 months. Was the space station just one giant pantry? Did they cancel the other visits so they could have enough food?
Several Russians & a few Americans have spent a year in space. Still nowhere near what a Mars mission would be. It would take almost 3 years total, with 1/2 in space & 1/2 on Mars. We will never send people to Mars & return them for a lot of reasons. One being there’s no feasible way to safely land a spacecraft that heavy on Mars. And no good way to protect astronauts from solar radiation (in Earth orbit they’re protected by the Van Allen belts, that deflect most solar radiation). My understanding is the preparation you go through is determined by how long you are going to be in space. They were only supposed to be there 8 weeks but ended up being there 9 months. The Russian and the NASA guy who came back are probably doing pushups right now.****
One thing about it if they are really planning a mission to mars this will help them learn the physicality of the human body in space for that long period of time. I believe Russians have stayed up there for a year. Not sure.

I think it would be the opposite of your examplesWonder what gravity issues do to a body in space that long? Saggy tits? Elongated nut sack? Can't be good can it?
You may want to reach out to Elon. He may not know about all that**Several Russians & a few Americans have spent a year in space. Still nowhere near what a Mars mission would be. Especially when they're not spending all their time arguing. It's neat what humans can accomplish.
Then send me up for a few monthsI think it would be the opposite of your examples
What Elon & others know is there’s a lot of government money to be had developing these spacecraft that will never successfully send humans to mars & back. You may want to reach out to Elon. He may not know about all that**
