At first I thought this was a joke . . .

but I talked with an Ole Miss adminstrator the other day and he told me that the first graduate program Masoli applied for was . . . wait for it . . . Criminal Justice. Unfortunately, he was denied entrance because felons are not allowed in the program, thus the Parks and Rec major. Anyway, it's much funnier knowing it's true. I felt a little better about our justice system and laughed a little harderat the folks up north (not that we wouldn't have done the same).</p>

the differnce between a criminal and a cop is sometimes the badge.

And on a related note, the Jackson Police Department would be well served to have same policy as the Ole Miss Criminal Justice program.

You should help BulldogBacker with stuff like this. You could be his assistant.

Masoli hasn't been convicted of a felony.

Most psych majors I've known have been head cases themselves.

And for all you young singles types - be on the lookout for the female psych major. You want to go an a handful of dates with these fine women. No less than that and certainly not much more than that. Hang on for a wild ride and always keep the exit strategy in mind. Glenn Close and ****.

but I'm not that famiiar with the man's rap sheet. All I did was repeat what the head of the graduate program department on Criminal Justice at Ole Miss said when he was asked by the athletic department for special circumstances to be let in. Has he been charged with a felony?

convicted of felony, but given a misdemeanor sentence.the first stepis to accept the fact that you have a felon on your football program.

though I still think he was convicted of a misdemeanor. Charged with a felony, but it was handled as a misdemeanor.

that doesn't change the fact that he and another guy broke into a house and stole a laptop. Everyone (including the police) knows the guy has had a troubled past, so there's no need in refuting it and somehow try to justify what he did. If you do that your only making yourself look like even more of a fool. Has Miss. State had troubled players before? You bet, but you never saw me trying to justify their actions. I don't care if Masoli plays for y'all or not, but act like he's not a criminal, and especially don't give me this "holier than thou" bull **** next time State signs a criminal.
