And which coach in particular would you be referring to??We are still one quarterback away from being a winner.
More importantly, we are one coach away from being a winner.
Even so... Great game by these guys.
He probably won’t win quite enough this year to land a blue blood type job, but we need to lock him up after this year to the point that only a select few will be able to convince him to leave after this year. Assuming he finishes decently. In this day of college football I am interested to see how coaches view what used to be considered much better jobs than ours. You can basically win anywhere in the SEC these days with the parity. Obviously there are advantages elsewhere that we will never be able to match, but we also offer some things as well.Went to a UT board to get their read their thoughts on the game . Lots of conversation about Lebby . They are really impressed with him and THEIR consensus is he won't be at State very long before he gets an offer from a bigger school .........don't shoot the messenger .
That’s fitting in that this place has become a 10 ring circus.Bashing Lebby makes you look like a clown
First thing I thought of when I read this…View attachment 934987
He was severely handicapped as the head coach with injuries in the 4th quarter. Having a full week to game plan around injuries is different than it happening mid game. I was not happy with the 4th quarter game management, but it is a little understandable. He needs to make some coaching adjustments this week with how he handles KT and the 2 minute offense.Since the thread has been pulled every direction, I commented on Wayne because everybody crapped on him when he was the quarterback. He still never gave up 14 points that I can remember.
If you were happy with the coaching job we had on Saturday, I will remain quiet and let you enjoy it. Our coach did a great job getting us where we were, but we did not finish the job.
