The article didn't make me ill, but I was at the game and left pretty much stunned. Looking back, it would be funny if it wasn't so sad on the parts of both teams offenses.
I thought we must've broken a record on unsuccessful 3rd down plays against Ok State, but I suppose not ... it was against Auburn. Also, your article said we had 2 first downs in the first quarter and 3 in the first half.
Do you remember, sometime around 2000 under Jackie, when we held Auburn to 0first downs in the first half and held Cadillac to 20-something yards in the game? Pretty sure that was the same year we annihilated Florida at Davis Wade.

It wasn't Cadillac. It was Rudi Johnson. Cadillac owes Mississippi State a check. His stats against us alone were enough to make him a first round pick.
