I went with a friend from college a few weeks back on a Wednesday from 7-9pm. It was mostly families and kids home from college while I was there with a few after work crews still hanging around. I had a good time and I dropped $75 playing, drinking, and eating.
As it got dark, the place turned into a pretty cool golf version of a neon bowling alley with the targets lighting up to the music. They also had a room that kids who didnt like the golf could play Xbox or other games to keep from distracting their parents. As I was leaving it was turning into a younger bar scene from all the Milton/Alpharetta/JC kids home from UGA breaking out Daddy's AMEX for their friends.
It is so big and loud from the music and fans that both families and people getting sloshed can enjoy it at the same time. Since it was just two of us splitting the bay and drinking, it was a bit pricy. In terms of partying, if I didnt live in Gwinnett, I would go a few times a month easy. However, I think it is too limited in size and too pricy to go there by myself to work on my game. If you have a family into golf though, it isnt any more expensive than taking them a movie. The games they provide for you to play will make it a lot of fun for the family.
