I was in Texas working about two weeks ago and I was talking to some of the guys I was training and they made the statement that the reason the SEC is so good is because one half the players in the Conference are from Texas. I hope they were being smart asses.

Maybe they will play a bigger part in the future, but as I recall only one player on the preseason all-SEC teams was from Texas along with one from North Carolina. I was surprised that the rest were all from SEC states.
