I thought AU already did their own internal investigation and found know reason to sit him....why would they be RE-looking into this issue???

AU has already made their decision, play him. Now if a bomb shell is released, possible they may seat him.

If I were Auburn, I'd play him till the wheels came off everything that is until the NCAA finishes it's investigation and issues punishment. The hammer is going to come down and come down hard. What's one, two or three games more going to matter at this point. Play him! Make the NCAA take the championship away.

Plus, it'd be fun to poke at Auburn about the championship that almost was if it wasn't for the cheating.

After all it's not a guarantee they will have to vacate the wins they have already and if they play him after the eligibility ruling those games will be vacated. Plus it will also piss off some one at the NCAA office. I think they can beat Alabama and South Carolina with out him. It will be a lot tougher but it could be done. If so they could still play in the Championship game. Auburn has been in touch with the NCAA all the way. One of two things have been determined. One they got nothing to lose so why not play him or they got reassurance from the NCAA that it was OK to play him and if it comes out those games in played in will not be effected.

They are in the bottom echelon of the SEC without Newton.

ETA: Maybe I missed it and you are impersonating an Auburn fan.
