I like my crow medium rare. Congratulations to the dogs and to Hubbard, what a big three-point shot when we needed it.
That's the most emotion I think I've ever seen Hubbard show, he's usually stoic as anything
What a freaking game. We scored 24 points the first 17 minutes of the second half and 18 points the last three minutes. Basketball is a funny game.

Auburn is basically 4 games ahead of us and they’re a projected 10 seed. If we could execute late against Mississippi, New Mexico, San Francisco, and SMU

Would have been a damn shame to waste one of the greatest games a Mississippi State basketball player has ever played.

Considering that we had to hang on for dear life in this one, we’d have, like, 2 more wins perhaps. Just goes to show what an utter abomination the rest of our roster is besides Hubbard. Completely insane that this one was somehow close.
Guys, Jans isn’t getting fired after this season, so you might as well enjoy wins. Tonight was one of the great games in Hump history. Hubbard goes off for 46, 35 in the first half. And we outscore Auburn 18-5 in the last 3:45 to grab victory from the jaws of defeat. The fact that a couple of you seem disappointed by the result of this game is ridiculous.
Yeah except in those 4 games our entire team played well enough to win for 35 minutes
Against 4 teams that all suck. And the last 5 minutes do count.
Simply put, if you struggle to win a game against a mediocre opponent when you have a player go for 46 and 9 while hitting 10 threes and shooting well over 50% from the field….there are serious 17ing issues with the rest of the lineup.
New Mexico and SMU are tournament teams. I’m not disagreeing with your point and as I said earlier in the thread Auburn isn’t a tournament team regardless of result tonight. My point is how different our resume would look
