Auburn will hire to win in Basketball regardless of coach's baggage. They hire a baggage loaded coach for football, and he cannot win without the cheat code!
Pearl has been at Auburn for 11 seasons now.
What he did at Tennessee was dumb and he was deservedly fired with a show cause penalty attached.
The crap he did 6 years ago got Auburn banned from postseason play for a year and some other stuff.
Even still, I would take Auburn's last 11 years in a heartbeat.
Move the 17 on- players are straight up paid for at this point.
But as I mentioned to some friends last night, legitimately 15-20 teams that could win it. I will say…..5-6 teams have set themselves apart with the size they have on the block. Just huge big men. Monsters

At least with being in the same conference we wouldn’t see them until the sweet 16 in the tournament and I would take a sweet 16.
