Does ASU not have a goal line back bigger than Brandon Holloway?

What were they doing on 4th down at the goal line? Without the penalty they don't even get the winning FG try done.

Arizona State is Cam Skattebo away from being the favorite to win the Big 12. Leavitt isn’t good enough to carry that team the way Skattebo did at times last year.

Leavitt sucked against us but has played reasonably well otherwise, including tonight.

I do think ASU is probably only an 8-4 or 9-3 type team this year. But that win is aging well for us. Since they came to us and lost, they’ve beaten three decent to good teams.

That game shouldn’t have been close. ASU statistically dominated the game. Almost doubled TCU in total yardage, held them to 10 rushing yards and won the turnover battle 2-0. But man, their red zone offense is terrible. They had first and goal inside the 5 yard line four times in the second half, and scored 13 total points, and the one touchdown was on a fourth down play. If they can fix their red zone offense, they will challenge for the Big 12 championship again.

Ya, he just had a bad night against us. Nothing to do with our team or coaching amiright? So what if they win the Big12, we got lucky**

I didn’t say we had nothing to do with it. We certainly played a big role in him sucking that night. I’ve been higher on Arizona State and us beating them than most on this board.

Their qb strength is his legs and they never made that a threat inside the 5. They held TCU to 269 yds of offense and almost lost

The ASU win gives us a bit more credibility. We just need to verify that this afternoon. If we can win, we'd be top 15.

Our secondary might be better than given credit for. We made him look like he shouldn't ever pass the ball

i was thinking the same thing. I know as state fans the urge is to assume anything good that happens isn’t real, but we might have a pretty good football team. We will see how good today.

It's almost like Skattebo last year was actually better than the top 3 ASU RBs this year, even though Pat told me otherwise before our game.
I’d be interested to see where I said anything like that. I did say they brought in a good RB from Army. And in fact they ran the ball all over us. They lost because their QB & receivers sucked & their secondary couldn’t cover for sh*t.
