>Is Rutgers good or is Northwestern bad? While we don’t really know that just yet, the Scarlet Knights emerged on Sunday as a good-looking, well-coached team. It was aggressive and maybe looked like it belonged in the Big Ten for the first time. Gavin Wimsatt is still not an accurate passer, but he made big plays, regardless. The run game worked better than usual, but the star of the show was the defense. It will be interesting to see where the Scarlet Knights go from here.<

Pretty fair analysis of the game itself though

To me, there’s a reason why Harbaugh went with a 3 game suspension versus original 4

He knows Rutgers is a well-coached team with talent and a good D — and won’t chance not being back for that game.

Today validated that decision a bit more for Michigan

Big Ten Power Rankings: Michigan, Penn State thrive as Ohio State struggles

>11 Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Rutgers was dealt a tough hand in terms of their early schedule, with Virginia Tech and Michigan looming on their slate, but they did what they needed to do in their opener, handling Northwestern with ease in a 24-7 win.

Gavin Wimsatt had 201 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, while Kyle Monangai rushed for 50 yards and a score.

If Rutgers can knock off Temple next week, they’ll likely find themselves rising up these rankings.<

I always trust "Wolverine Mike" with an accurate assessment of Rutgers. He just happened to miss the triple OT game in 2020 and the 20-13 nail biter at the big house on 2021.
someone needs to remind him in the comments section

love this narrative that psu thrived as anyone that watched that game saw a team that could have easily lost. WVU gave them a fight and were in it. That game was no slam dunk
