Ears (his agent) in buyout negotiations with AU AD (Lowder, of course).

The rapidity of events leading to terminations and replacement is starting to get nuckin futs.

Why can't this be us?

Someone who follows Auburn closely just told me the same thing. Sexton trying to get Tubs to take a lower buy out and go coach elsewhere.

Tubs knows that next year isn't going to be any better.

Start drinking your WD-40. Your heads will start to spin due to the coaching carosel. This will lead to Bobby Petrino to Auburn. Bobby Johnson to Arkansas. Then Butch Davis to Tenn and Bowden to NC. Some unknown to Vanderbilt.

Just Brain Farting!

from auburn site:
1440 AM Noon Round Table reporter Doug Amos claims to have been in touch with higher-ups, and he now states that he"believes CTT will not be AU coach next year, and the change will be mutual, and occur before season's end." Will be negotiation process, he says, regarding 6 Mil buy-out.

waiting for him to get through kissing the collective asses of Vince Dooley's wife and Saban's wife (whom he's interviewing) so we can move on to his confirmation of the Earz shitcanning. You know good and well he's the first call Sexton will make so as to spin it somewhat in Earz's favor.

Anyhow, the rumor has serious legs. I mean, Stacy Kiebler's legs.

Here's the latest as it's developing. His contract reportedly puts the buyout between 5-7 Dr. Evils. Sexton is pumping for $3 bills and Earz gets to pretend to coach for the remainder. Lowder wants his *** out of there RIGHT F'N NOW at 2 bills. Sexton is arguing that they can name Muschamp now and keep Earz on the sidelines - presto, Lowder gets what he wants. Texas is screaming bloody murder about the in-season Muschamp contact, but Sexton doesn't give a F about that.

All of this has to be weighed against a backdrop of Earz's apparent health decline. He had surgery to fuse neck bones last summer. Supposedly Earz is in chronic pain. Some are saying that he wants out because the pain (exascerbated by stress) is too much.

I'd like to know, at least for a day, what it feels like to be a fan of a program that doesn't accept losing.

Remember. It wasn't all that long ago that Lowder was on an airstrip in Louisville because Earz could only muster a paltry 8 wins, or whatever it was. Lowder gets exposed. Earz comes out the pitiful victim and smelling like a rose, and then proceeds to kick Alabama's *** for five straight years. Methinks Bobby has been salivating for his next chance.

Meanwhile, we were loving it back in Vegas because of our "coaching stability". It's all a giant farce.

Well, technically Lowder wasn't there, but it was his plane. And don't sell The Streak short. It's six, going on seven.

Now, you know that's not doing things the right way.
