He was around 90-92 vs USA I believe. He slowed his tempo down too much with runners on and we threw waaaaay too many change ups.

He'll be OK by next year, just like Stratton was. Sucks we can't depend on him this year, but that's why we compile depth in the pitching staff. He's a heck of a talent and he'll come around. Maybe even this year.

I don't think that's what they're saying.

If he's not 100% healthy, he doesn't need to be pitching right now. Period. I imagine he'll get looked at, though.

If it's a rehab start, fine, but it's not.

That's not good. When was he cleared to start pitching again? Has he had time to build his arm strength back?

After watching him in person last night I have to say he looks the part and will

hopefully gain the confidence he needs to be a winner. You could tell last night he was
trying very hard to maintain his control. I think in his efforts to contain his wildness he just
didn't have very good stuff. Cohen certainly seemed to sense it because the hook came out quick
and it was a great decision.

Here's to hoping he gets things going in the right direction, I think he will.
