My go to for basketball. Buy a water and refill it later from water dispenser.
You are flaunting the privilege of the lower concourse. Those of us like @e5fdny and I, who choose the upper deck, do not have the luxury of a water fountain.

and to think one of those morons got hired as HC when Schiano left for Tampa...We had to throw our four away during that caper. Got into a heated argument pointing to the Merchandise shop inside the stadium where I bought them and they were on display. Then pointed to the prohibited items signage they have and asked the attendant and officer to please point out where it says no seat cushions. It was like talking to two morons with a combined IQ of 5.
CBP allows you to bring in a bottled water and your own hoagie.Homeland security is such weak horeshit excuse when Metlife allows outside water in a clear bag. Such nonsense.
Drink from them or fill bottles ?Use the water fountains at SHI
Honestly, I wouldn't use those and I am no germ phobe.the stadium has water fountains . I assume they all work and have to meet some type of code. Anyone ever drink from them or fill up bottles?
I never have
I had a green apple confiscated a few years ago. When I asked why, the security guard said I might smoke marijuana out of it.
Can't make this stuff up...
Did you hear this, @MrsScrew ?I used to fill up water bottles or catch a sip or two from a water fountain that was along one of the walls that ran between the lower level seating area and the outer concourse,,, just behind section 125. Then two seasons ago they decided to put a beverage /snack stand of some kind DIRECTLY in front of the water fountain, completely blocking access to it. Freaking Ridiculous.
Hoagies can be used as a weapon. Especially foot longs, and especially when the Phillies play the Mets--those fans can be nuts in Philly.CBP allows you to bring in a bottled water and your own hoagie.

But can feedback on this board get you to use the RETURN KEY and create paragraphs instead of a wall of text?I got my own “stupid game day random policy change” story. This goes back actually not too many years back.
So when one of my tailgate buddies and me would park at the RAC the bus would drop us off at the bubble. Well for a long time we would hike back from the bubble via the service road that the busses travel down, past the yurcak restrooms to our tailgate in the blue lot. We had been doing this at every home game for a decade or more. anyhow maybe three years back, all of a sudden the police wouldn’t allow us to use this route anymore. I tried to explain to the police that we had been using this exact route for over a decade, which fell on deaf ears. Talked to his sergeant, same this is the way it is. So a few games we and a few hundred others would have to go down the path towards the stadium, go around to the road that the food trucks are on now, to the blue lot. What a PIA! I took my rant to this board and I think it was Mrs. Screw who said I should reach out to Rutgers. She even provided the names and emails of whom I should contact. So I did. After I explained my issue via email to this person they got back to me within hours and told me that there was no policy change and that some yahoo LEO made up this rule on the fly. The very next home game we took our old path to the blue lot. Two morals to this story, this board actually does accomplish things and all’s well that ends well.
Gotta love the upper berth people.. they can see the game the CORRECT way.You are flaunting the privilege of the lower concourse. Those of us like @e5fdny and I, who choose the upper deck, do not have the luxury of a water fountain.
I apologize, When in rant mode, I just spew. But can feedback on this board get you to use the RETURN KEY and create paragraphs instead of a wall of text?
Can it accomplish that?(I seems to be in a mocking mood.. time to do something else)
True! Who has extra time to hit extra keys!I apologize, When in rant mode, I just spew.
Just called the AD office spoke to nice girl there.
Suggested they allow water and food in the stadium with the heat and that other stadiums allow it.
She said she'd pass the suggestion along.
More calls I'm sure wouldn't hurt...

Collapsible soft bottle below the back panel or lining of your pack? Or under clothing
Or just in a pocket if they don't go full patdown. Super easy to carry.
I showed my water and my scar and the guy waved me through, probably because he was disgusted by my scar.![]()
Just guzzle a **** ton of water before you go in if you’re too cheap to spend $5 for a bottle of water. Suck it up & Support your university!! You’ll be plenty hydrated for three hours & who needs to eat or drink when such entertainment is before your eyes?Homeland security is such weak horeshit excuse when Metlife allows outside water in a clear bag. Yes, you can bring in a bottle of water so long as it hasn't been opened. But you can't bring in any kind of cooler so I guess you have to have your hoagie in your hand. https://www.mlb.com/phillies/ballpark/information/code-of-conductCBP allows you to bring in a bottled water and your own hoagie.
Used to be in a regular corner store plastic bag. But since that’s illegal now, the “single compartment bag” or the “drawstring” that’s on the approved list will have to do.Yes, you can bring in a bottle of water so long as it hasn't been opened. LOL, with our fans RU could give away free water and the fans would still vacate at half time. Its just terrible form by Rutgers given 90 degree temps expected
Dont be surprised when stadium empties half its attendence after half time
