Im not sure Stands could get to 2 OTs. He is good at losing close, especially against good teams.

To a very good Baylor team. It is time to give some credit to our coaches although I know that will upset some of you clowns . We are what we are a good team with no depth so you might as well get used to close games.

Care to look up our record in close games this year? While you are at it check out Grant's record in close ones too.

Some of you clowns are so pathetic it's funny. You don't know the first thing about basketball, get all the facts wrong, and bash Stans and the team because you think it's cool I guess. We are 7-1 in games decided by 5 points or less this year. Our only loss was a 2 point loss to top-10 ranked Baylor, and if the ref had called a foul like he should have when Dee got tackled out of bounds with 30 seconds left, we might well have won that one too. But those facts don't fit with the prevailing agenda on here that Stansbury is the worst coach since Joe Dan Gold, damn the fact that we have a top 20-ranked team that is 18-5 and currently sitting in third place in the SEC. I continue to be amazed at some of you.

Then win in spite of Stands, not because of him.

Nothing had changed since the last time we had no hope of making an NCAA tournament - except the roster has a lot better talent on it. Same predictable ball screen offense.

Same strength & conditioning issues. Same discipline issues. Same everything, more talent.

If any one person deserves credit, its Dee Bost for drawing plays in the sand (sweat) at the end of games.

Many of those wins by 5 points or fewer are a result of Stansbury slowing down the offense--a 10 point lead with 3 minutes left is often a 4 point win. So, this 7-1 record is not as impressive at it seems.

You can't give complete credit to the players for every win and blame every loss on the coach. That is idiotic as hell. Some of you really do try to hard at times

So yesterday, when State was actually running plays against the zone and the players kept screwing them up that was Stansbury's fault?

When it goes wrong it is Stansbury's fault, but when it goes right he had nothing to do with it. Please try and keep up

With 5 minutes left to play:
Against Detroit, we lead 66-63, and were up 2 with 2 minutes to play. </a><a title="" href="http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-basketball/play-by-play/201112170165/mississippi-state-bulldogs--detroit-titans">Detroit Game
Against Baylor, we were tied at 50, and were up 2 with 2 minutes to play. Baylor Game
Against Utah State, we were tied at 58, and down 2 with 2 minutes to play. Utah State Game
Against Tennessee, we lead 53-49, and were up 6 with 2 minutes to play. Tennessee Game
Against Alabama, we trailed 42-46, and were tied at 48 with 2 minutes to play. Bama Game
Against Vandy, we lead 63-60, and were up 6 with 2 minutes to play. Vandy Game
Against LSU we lead 65-54, and were up 9 with 2 minutes to play. LSU Game
Against Auburn, we lead 77-70 with 5 to go and were up 7 with 2 minutes to play. Auburn Game

It's okay though - it's much cooler to make **** up on the internet than to actually know what the Hell you're talking about.

On how to change what he meant.

Thanks for bringing actual facts to the thread. And the LSU game those shots that guy made were unreal. Never happen again.

I think it must be a cadre of Meo's ex-boyfriends. Their hatred of Stansbury is pathological.
