Combined record of teams auburn’s played away from home: 93-74

Kentucky: 128-41

Auburns non home schedule is a joke.

Vanderbilt is probably the only non tourney team kentucky has played away from rupp. Notre Dame is likely on the bubble with some work to do.

But UNC is probably going to make it as somewhere between a 5-9 seed depending on how they finish. Kansas is probably going to be a 1 or 2. Auburn is going to be a 1 or 2. Duke is going to be a 1 or 2. LSU is going to be anywhere from a 3-6 seed and texas a&m anywhere from a 6-10 seed.

Auburn has played…2 tourney teams away from home? Bama and Uconn(who they lost to).

If they are allowed to shove and hold on defense in the tourney like they are at home, they could make some noise.

But they won't be allowed, so they won't go far. Again.
Well it’s the new Lunar Year. And it’s the Year of The Tiger.

Just wait until they learn that and never shut up about it.

Alabama has zero offense other than kick the ball around, make a half assed drive, kick it out for 3 and hope for the best. Wash, rinse, repeat. It’s hard to watch. If they aren’t hitting shots at an elite level pretty much any team can beat them.

Conversely, that strategy can lead to having a really hot game and beating anyone as well, but it’s not a reliable nor consistent strategy. It’s mind numbing to watch either way.
Correct. On your best night you can beat anyone. On a normal night it’s iffy. On a bad night you have nothing to fall back on. Only benefit is that it is fan candy.

I can't stand this Auburn team.
I can't stand any team that gets to get a foul called when there was no foul. Flopping their head back around a screen every single time
The stupid refs call it 75% of the time. No reason for them to not do it when they get rewarded for it and get players in easy foul trouble.

I guess anything can happen, but seeing Kentucky blowout good teams all season and watching Bama struggle with Georgia how can anyone think we’re gonna lose that game
Because road conference games are hard to win against decent teams. Bama isn’t great but they have the ability to beat anyone. We better come to play just like the Kansas game and be prepared to shut the 3 down.

AU has played maybe four good teams all year. UCONN, Murray, Us and Bama. That’s it.

lol. AU peacocking like they’ve beat somebody.
They did "The Crane" to mock Alabama.

Alabama did that gesture after they won in two overtimes last year in football against a bad Auburn team.

They did the same a couple weeks ago in Tuscaloosa. You won't see it again.

Oates offense is predicated on hitting threes, I have seen them beat some really good teams when they were knocking them down, when they don’t they lose. Tonight they weren’t and lost big. I hope we guard the 3 well the s week , if we do we win comfortable, if not it will be a war.

Yeah I was blown away yet again that as aggressive as Auburn defense is, they somehow manage to never touch the offensive player. Last night I think at the 12 min mark in 2nd half they still only had 5 fouls ALL GAME (five "called" fouls, that is).

Oklahoma is 13-9. 3-6 in conference. 8th. They are NOT good.

They played Loyola months ago. But z Loyola is still decent.

LSU is slipping. And they had to play Auburn at Auburn.

Who has Auburn played on the road that’s worth a crap?

I hate that Alabama & LSU keep losing. It is going to mean our wins over them are not top 25 wins at Rupp or even this weekend in Tuscaloosa if we win. I do not like that Bama lost by 19 and got a 100 spot thrown up on them last night by Auburn. Hopefully we can stay healthy and run and gun and get out of Bama with a win on Saturday, not going to be easy (never was).

Auburn has definitely benefited from an easier road slate in the SEC. They were preordained to win the regular season almost before it started due to their talent and the schedule. UK's injuries to Wheeler & TyTy put the nail in the coffin for anyone to keep up with them.

Auburn is a fouling machine on defense; but the refs can only call so many. Dudes literally grab and hack non stop, so you gotta learn to play through it, cause the refs only call so many. Healthy, we will wipe the floor with these clowns in SEC tourney, as long as we get the chance. They will try to turn it into a brawl, but will not succeed. Pearl will cry and whine, Cal will smile.

Everyone knows they’re going to be on fire at Rupp and probably hit 7 of their first 10. Lock of the century.

Bama is a weird team. They shoot the hell out of the three, but they don't make a lot of them. Which is why they can beat Gonzaga and Baylor but lose to GA and Auburn. I still don't think Auburn is that good. Beating up on Alabama means nothing to me.

Bama made 14 3s last night. During one stretch, they hit 7/8 from 3. They shot the ball as well as they have all season last night and we still beat them by 19.

They shot 16 in the first 10 minutes of the game. I stopped watching after that. It was ridiculous. Auburn spends half of every possession just trying to draw fouls.
Bama is a horrible defensive team and resorted to mugging our guys on every possession. They had no chance to stop us otherwise. If anything, the refs let them get away with a ton. They easily could have called 50 fouls on them last night. As good as UK's offense is, bama is going to have to do the same thing on Saturday so hopefully the refs will be willing to give you guys a fair shake playing in their ****** hanger of an arena.

If you watched the game last night and concluded Auburn was the team fouling a ton, you need to go watch the replay. Bama is a miserable defensive team and their only hope to slow us down was to mug our guys and hope the refs didn't call it. Meanwhile, we have guys like Walker who are very skilled defenders that block shots without fouling. We also have a ton of depth so we can afford to have guys play aggressively on D and not worry much about foul trouble.

It's true. Auburn does foul quite a bit on defense. They rank 249th on defense in FTA/FGA.

That being said they are also excellent in all other aspects of defense. 21st in opponent effective FG% and 51st in forcing turnovers.

Overall 10th in defensive efficiency.

To go along with 12th in offensive efficiency, solid team.
