you have to think he is going to take a very active role in this process now. Last go around he deferred to Kate Sweeney and gang. I'm guessing he won't do that again.

I hope he fights his first instinct to go to the clearance section or bargain bin for the AD and HC hires.

I have to give Bob credit. He could easily just sat this next year out before retirement, but he wants to try and fix the Athletics mess beforehand.

He handled the firings well and already had a good interim AD already in line. Seems like they already have a coach in mind too.

Unless we get disasters at HC and AD, I'm just glad he showed he was willing to make a move.

Why had the football team and RU sport's reputation suffered so large of hits ?
Could it be the way Bobby has handled problems when they arise, then place the blame on others when things goes wrong
Pernetti handed hi a video and he refused to look at it. Then made Tim the scapegoat once that tape got out.
Flood's e-mail mess could and should have caused him to be fired, but Bobby only suspended him.
Flood deserved to go then and glad to see him gone now, but the termination for cause probably has been mishandled and Barchi probably is to blame for that

Hermann might deserve to be fired for what she did or did not do , but feel she's really taking the fall forBarchi's mistakes and probably some of her own.
When Barchi is involved , things wind up bad for others, but Bob walks away unharmed.

That's how I see this latest episode of : "How Rutgers Turns" starring Bob Barchi and his cast of leakers.

I agree with Caliknight's post, but not with his headline. Barchi is not at risk for losing his job. He's asserted himself, and that is good.

I'm wondering what that report is going to say. I'm sure it plays a bigger role in the firings than the football team's dismal performance.
