I'll admit it's not going to happen with him, just like it didn't happen with CM, just like it didn't happen with Hagan, just like it didn't happen with Ivy.

I'm not going to waste time explaining something so simple. If you don't get it, figure it out. The money we have at our disposal is ridiculous in 2015. We are a modern day SEC program.

Barney has made some huge mistakes, and despite the success of the minor sports programs he is not very wll liked internally. Asks programs to watch their money and then wastes money on things like fancy boxes for football season tickets and they have zillions sitting around leftover. Gives Stoops a massive extension without any results on field and he was not going anywhere. It is now apparent that Stoops is clueless as a HC, a poor evaluator of coaching talent, not a program builder, and does not instill confidence and discipline within our program. If his name was Smith and not Stoops he would not have been hired.

I'm all for firing him at this point. It won't happen, and if it did the next guy would not do any better, but it would give the fans someone new to blame. Honestly the only way to fix this mess is to fire B and Stoops and pay whatever it takes a year to get a real proven HC in here...and leaving the SEC would help as well. Join the ACC or Big Ten...we will win more games. Funny how that works. That also won't happen, but while we are dreaming big, let's go all out.

1. New AD.
2. Saban/Meyer like coach.
3. Join another power 5 conference that is easier.

No problem.

Add Bernie Shively, too.

I wouldn't put Shively in the same class as Hagan and CM. Shively WAS a football guy -- All American guard at Illinois playing with Red Grange, and he's in the College Football Hall of Fame. Shively was AD at Kentucky from '38-'67. He got along great with Rupp, plus he hired Bear Bryant...
