Bart vs ESPN writer, twitter fight

Sorry I don’t know how to link or search correctly. But David Hale, with ESPN, took shots at us in an article “ what followed was utter euphoria unseen in Starkville since they announced the opening of a new Bass Pro Shops. The fans stormed the field, pulled down the goal posts, and, we assume, carried them off to be displayed at the town‘s most sacred shrine: the chilies off route 12.”

Bart wrote a tweet calling him out but evidently was supposed to be a text instead of a tweet. They have both told each other to go to hell. 17 that guy and ESPN

He was trying to be witty like the old Pat Forde articles. But that whole schtick is tired. The whole article was full of dumb crap like that. It wasn’t really directed only at MSU

Hard to believe the “suppose to be a text” line. Bart is fine calling him out though. I know it’s a little different when you’re both industry guys, but Bart doesn’t have to shy away from taking up for his employer.

The part that p isses me off is that there is a really good story to be told from Leach’s death, schools recruiting our player, knee jerk hiring in response to trying to salvage the program, to two years paying for mistake. I’m taking shots at our administration. There isn’t a script for what state went through. Bottom line there is good story here but this jack a s s went with the simpleton southerns can only celebrate a bass pro shop.
