But it looks like he made a wise decision for himself. </p>

in about four years. Some of it is going to depend on what they want to do with Brandon Phillips in the long term future, and I'm pretty sure they will let him go at that point and then let Hamilton take over.

I hear that Golson dude that committed to Ole Miss is a baseball guy. What about our signees?

He will sign pro because he has really bad academic problems. He is a commit to Co-Lin, but I would be shocked if he didn't sign with MLB. He hit over .700 last year and probably is the fastest guy in the state in terms of baseball players. I think he is a better prospect than Golson personally. I could see Chief Brown getting drafted by MLB, but I'm not sure that he will sign. Someone might take Alvin Franklin from Murrah.

If you're talking about MSU football signees that might get drafted- I don't believe we have anyone this year that will get drafted by MLB, much less are at risk of losing someone to MLB.

Others that may choose college or the draft (baseball only) No particular order:

Mason Robbins
Hawtin Buchanon
Brandon Woodruff- MSU signee
Jacob Lindgren- MSU signee
Josh Laxer

I think the above guys are definately getting drafted unless they have an injury or another issue.

Others that I think might get drafted:

Will Cox- MSU signee
Jonathan Holder- MSU signee
Cody Brewer
Scott Votaw
Scottie Peavey
Connor Barron
Spencer Turnbull

So, it's a pretty good group of players this year- probably more pitching this year than last year in Mississippi. Also, I think Trevor Fitts will get drafted if he is healthy as well. He's a MSU signee from Alabama. I don't think the other MSU signees will get drafted unless they have a Hunter Renfroe type year out of nowhere.

watch for Hunter Renfroe. he is a freshman that played at Copiah Academy. unbelievable talent in this kid. he was set to break the state homerun record last year, till everyone started walking him. they were even walking him with the bases loaded. he is a great player!

Gray is out of pro baseball all together. He only played one year for the Arizona Royals and has come back home to Hazlehurst. My source says that bc of grades being changed, Gray's diploma from Hazlehurst High School was invalidated, so he is in summer school trying to complete his senior year and earn his diploma. I have no clue what he plans to do if/when he 'graduates', again.

Hopefully cangraduate and walk-on somewhere, or maybe even find a college with an available scholarship. Looks like we're full in the scholarship dept, but possibly could find a walk-on spot for asuper fast 6'1" WR/S.
