Don’t be scared to show some balls! 3-0 record this weekend with a massive showdown next week at Buzzard Stadium.

2-1 with a win on Saturday, and a Friday/Sunday split. That ASU team is looking salty.
They're not ranked. Until last night their schedule was just like ours. And they got all but 1 of their runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings last night. Sometimes those things happen. They're not 15-3 better than Oklahoma. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Oklahoma win tonight.

We have played a very weak schedule so far. The weakest by far of anyone in the field. It's hard to figure how that will play into this, not to mention it's our first games away from the Dude. I'm hoping for more, but kind of expecting 1-2. We have as much or more talent than all these teams, but we have really been playing exhibition ball so far. If we go 2-2 in our next 4, I'll be satisfied. If we do better, I'll be looking at hotel rooms in Omaha. Lol

I have watched five UCLA games. They have not committed an error this season. The SS is top rated player in the nation. He does it all. The top two UCLA starting pitchers are equal to McPherson and Tomas. UCLA's #3 spot has a 9.00 ERA. Their pen is very good (equal to ours?). I like that we matchup in game #3.
I have only watched one ASU game and they were very good against Oklahoma. ASU bats are every bit as good as ours. Their starting pitching is similar to MSU - no dominate ace but 3 good starters. ASU pen is suspect as they don't K a lot of batters. I think ASU will be our biggest challenge this weekend. ASU fielding is good but not any better than ours (we have a much improved defense this season!).
I don't know anything about VTech.
Almost every year, I'd say win 2 of 3 and move on. Not this year. I will not concede a single loss. We do not play a better team than us all year (I'm talking to you LSU, TX, Arky and anyone else on our schedule).
3-0 this weekend

3-0 this weekend

I do like that we're playing UCLA in game 3. It probably means nothing, but I feel like our biggest strength is the depth of talent we have and that seems more important late in a weekend series.
