This is in no way a complaint, just something I noticed watching the video. If someone pulls it down the right field line, and it hits the round part of the brick wall, there's no telling where that ball could go. Should make it interesting playing right field.

Well I know of one OM fan that isn't taking it all that well: my neighbor. Although he's trying to hide it. He said, "Yeah. Hell yeah, it looks good. I mean, I doubt they start on it in our lifetime though." Later he said something to the extent of State just doing it because UM going to Omaha. If that's the case I am damn impressed by the speed and efficiency of the architects.

ETA: The Nafoom thread is good for a few chuckles, too. UMiss finally making the CWS got this rolling (again, super impressed by the speed and efficiency of the architects if that's true), but we'll never have the money anyway. Not enough to make it like the rendering anyway.

I'm also curious to see what the "6-8 options" are. My guess is they're going to dictate the type of railing you can have, as well as certain things like mountings for a grill. Hopefully they won't have other limitations like decoration standards, and will allow for larger grills of all types.

Totally agree it's outstanding. One of the 86 owners can't wait to see our new or same spot. Fantastic

According to the scoreboard, it's so awesome that we're letting the GUESTS have last at-bat.

OK don`t come out with guns blazing but why would anyone who currently has a LFL spot think they`re going to be treated any differently than some of the long time football season ticket holders who got moved because someone else would give more for their seats ? Will they be allowed to keep their lease if someone else is willing to pay 3 times as much for the spot ? What`s the difference ?

are they thinking the upper deck is some kind of club level? if so, that would allow the sale of beer for our thirsty patrons. pretty awesome.

maybe with the ncaa giving way to the power 5, they might look to add beer sales for all. that would be totally sweet.

Left Field Lofts. Yes. With a tip of the cap to the Wrigleyville rooftops.

That is my only "complaint". And it is not even a real one because what is there is so awesome!! But if we are going to copy Waveland ave, why not put bleachers on the rooftops?

again... Not really complaining.

it would explain why it's so badass...we had 40 years to plan it

Girls make good homemakers....and Dudy Noble is home to The Mississippi State University.

Like the open areas down the rightfield and leftfield lines....great place to sit down and have a picnic.

And might as well make the structure of the concession building (I think that is what is at left center next to the scoreboard in the outfield) where it can hold some basic stands. I think that would be awesome there and on top of the Lofts.

New NAFOOM insight. Mentioning our attendance record is us being obsessed

yep.... That's right. Any time that we mention 15,586, it is because we are obsessed with TSUN. Their thread on DNF spells that out. This paragraph clearly signifies that...

"Mississippi State currently owns the top 10 on-campus crowds in NCAA baseball history. On April 12, 2014, Bulldog fans shattered the single-game NCAA on-campus attendance record as 15,586 fans witnessed a 6-5 MSU victory against in-state rival Ole Miss. This past spring, a school-record average of 8,127 fans attended games, breaking the mark set the previous season (7,617). In all, more than five million fans have seen a game at the stadium affectionately nicknamed “The Dude.” "

You know, I specifically remember that we never once mentioned that we beat Florida on the day of 14,991... We really are just so concerned with the bears...

The only negative I could see from a LFL seat holder is that the lounge will be much more accessible now. It has the same walkway by the fence and a second walkway. Then add in that you can walk all the way around the stadium now. Many more people will head out there to experience it and linger around.

So.. LFL'ers, do you see that as a positive or negative from your perspective?

I know it's just a rendering but it looks like around 10 people per box. Right now our trailer can comfortably seat 20 but we rarely have that many. When we do, its usually only SBW and regional play. But, if that number gets dropped to 10 becuase of the 'cookie-cutter' box, we could have some overflow on some SEC weekends and I can guarantee you that our overflow will stay on the walkway next to the box to visit and eat. Let this happen for all 86 rigs and the walkway becomes impassable. Some of the frats that currently have large trailers and large turnouts will probably cause overflow problems more frequently unless their overflow goes to the berm seating or student chairbacks but I don't see either of those happening. So, I'm really not sure if it'll be more accessible or not. I mean right now you have a paved road behind it and a deck in front of it and the paved road is wider than the future walkway is going to be.
