Regardless of what we do to DNF, I think the changes should be patterned after the CWS stadium in Omaha. If we move fences, make them the same dimensions. If we change grand stand, make it similar. In doing this, when we go to Omaha we are only playing another team not learning a new stadium as well.

the thing is, the most important part of learning about new fields, provided there are no ridiculous nuances in the outfield, is Foul Territory. There is NO WAY we can mimic TD Ameritrade @ DNF in that regard, short of demolishing the grandstands and starting over. TD Ameritrade has the most distinct roundness of any field I can immediately recall seeing, meaning every seat points practically straight at the pitcher's mound. DNF is built "narrow" which makes this impossible, and also makes it very difficult to expand the stadium down the foul lines in a comfortable manner...

That is about as stupid as saying that we should change Scott Field to be like Bryant-Denny or Tiger Stadium. If only our stadium was like those we would win..

Last I checked, all football fields are roughly the same. All baseball fields are different in many small, but key ways that will win or lose a game depending on how well you know those nuances. It was a valid thought that deserved valid responses.

There are practically no similarities in your comparison between the sports whatsoever....

He's saying we should make our field exactly like Omaha so when we do play there again, our team will be tailered for the field of play. Which is not a bad idea, although I don't think the advantage would be all that great, it would be a small advantage.

You throw the ball..., you hit the ball..., you catch the ball.
You got it?
