Based on Coach34's thread. Where are they now?

...while praising the man who had the worst "take my ball and go home" complex of any adult I've ever witnessed?

That being said, Coach34 is a terrrrrible poster. And while I don't fully understand leaving a board over it, I do know that ifI frequented an establishment with some dumbass in the corner always talking loud and obnoxiously, that can construe his comments such that he can completely change the original intent to win an argument, and in general just be a incredible nuisance....well, I'd probably look for something else to do also.

So, whileHD6's "I'm the most intelligent and knowledgeable sports person in the world and everyone else is beneath me" persona sucked (how did that face off with Afro Dawg go, I can't remember), I can't blame him for not wanting to post here because Coach34 inevitably comes along to screw it up.

Coach34 said:
4 of the last 5 basketball seasons we were on the outside looking in at the NCAA Tourney heading into the SEC Tourney. If we had made a Sweet 16 and Stansbury was meeting expectations, CowpowerStanza would have 40,000 posts by now

He just got tired of sifting through posts by former coaches that worship other former coaches while bashing our own. Maybe if you would act like a 17ing MSU basketball fan every once in a while people would not get as tired of your ****. Hell I would rather read an Ole Miss fan's opinion on MSU basketball than yours.

You are reasonable for most of the year but when basketball starts you become an insufferable ******* who runs off more posters than you bring in with your anti MSU BS.

At one time, I was under the opinion that Coach was okay except during basketball season. The last few years though, he's been miserable year round. The SOP for a Coach34 sports anaylsis post is 1.) State something blatantly obvious, 2.) Gloat about it as though you've just invented the forward pass.

I knew Costanza when he was Cowpower on a different board.

Jackass Bob was always cool with me. He knew I lived in New Orleans but I have no idea who he is.

I wish HD6 would post here. His stuff was good to read.

If I ever run into a guy named Knothead, he is dead meat. (no internet tuff guy)

When did:

Saying Stansbury would screw up last basketball season become blatantly obvious?
Saying Ralph would beat out Russell this Spring- blatantly obvious? Not in this board
Saying we would score more points and the running game wouldn't miss a beat was obvious?
Saying we would have a quality SEC RB just like we always do was obvious? Chris Low begged to differ in August

Same ol **** around here "after the fact"

I tink you may be referring to Grissom. I had issues with him, but certainly don't like it when a bulldog fan passes away.

run game was going to be fine and relf was going to be our starter isn't exactly groundbreaking.

Crooms' daughter for telling him to take the job. He was from Meridian and then one who taught or did something at South Panola died on there too. I'm glad I got off there before I died.

Besides, as someone pointed out above, we're a unified fanbase.

So while you're an arrogant #%!!+#!$$, you're a maroon arrogant #%!!+#!$$, so that's better than hanging out on NAFOOM.

You're the only person that though our run game would be fine & that Relf would be out starter. I apologize, Uncle Rico.

I've technically had this account since 2001, before sixpack was even a twinkle in DS's eye. Yet the site says I "joined" in 07, even though I've posted on this board since 03.

half this board thought Russell would be the starting QB in 2009, so to act like 2/3 of the board didnt think he was going to be the starter back in Jan-Feb is downright stupid.

So yes, when you take a position that only 33% of people at the very most think will happen, and then it takes place- yeah, it's kind of a big deal

It has me and jsireland joining in July and September of '03. I'm quite positive we both joined in April of '03.

missing the point. It's not exactly earthshattering to think Relf would be our starter and our running game would be fine. I thought and said the same thing. However, I'm not acted like a genious for saying this. You, on the other hand have to remind everyone daily that you thought this, too. I guess it's just amazing to me to think that someone would say this would happen then think they're some super-intelligent being. What are you going to gloat about next, saying we are gonna run the ball a bunch vs the bears???

the other poster spewing crap that I say something "blatantly obvious" and then act like I'm the only one saying it. And you pretty much backed him up on that.

So, once again, I show proof that it wasnt at all "blatantly obvious"...and actually a minority opinion

"I guess it's just amazing to me to think that someone would say this would happen then think they're some super-intelligent being"

And it's amazing to me how people that are continually wrong come back after the fact and act like that position was so obvious everybody thought the same thing at the time.
