What coaches are stepping down after the season or moving on? It seems like, with schools requiring more teachers to turn in letters of intent, this information is needed for all.

I've heard Coach Werner at Elkhorn Valley (Boys) is stepping down, moving to Pierce as his wife took a teaching position there. That will be a big hit to the Elkhorn Valley girls basketball team as his two daughters are starters on their current undefeated season.
Correct. Also makes Pierce girls a very interesting team for 26-27 season.

Looks like Malcolm boys HC is open. The girls assistant coach is also open. Not sure if Dolliver is taking over as HC or stepping aside as AC.

Prichard is staying at Malcolm. They only had 2 coaches and a volunteer, thus the opening for an assistant. The boys coach decided to step down and spend more time as a father from what I was told.

Kelly Cooksley has stepped down as GBB coach at Broken Bow. Will stay at the school and remain as Girls Golf Coach. He will also continue to run the Girls Basketball Showcase in Kearney.

Brad Wright will be new head girls coach at Plainview with previous coach Brittany White stepping down last week.
I really feel for those Plainview Girls, and now including Osmond girls. Sounds like they will be C1 next season and they had enough talent and youth to really be punchy the next couple of years in D1 or maybe even C2, but C1 is going to be a very uphill battle for them. I thought Coach Wilmes (formerly White) was really putting some stuff together there for the Pirates too. Her dad was a hell of a coach back in the day as well. Sad to see her go as a coach. Hopefully all the Plainview kids stay put with the move up in classes bringing in Osmond. I have heard some rumblings the team may not quite look the same as last year.
