Sword, Steele, and Lewis all with 2 fouls and been out much of the half.

Cunningham having to play some pretty significant minutes in this game.

Halftime

Seems we finally started to settle in the final 6-8 minutes of the half. Survived the onslaught by Troy. Think they outscored us something like 30-9 at one point after we opened the game 5-0.

We are 1-9 from 3, with Steele 0 of 3, Borchert 1 of 3, and Thomas 0 of 2. Got to hit those shots to give ourselves a chance.

Troy went 7 of 17 from 3 in first half. They have a couple of guys in minor foul trouble just like we do.

Seems they are picking on Cunningham bigtime when he is in the game. Johnson is a huge loss here. We have to get him back and stay healthy...

sportacular basically does as well... just got to constantly pull to refresh.

Matthew Stevens is doing an excellent job keeping everyone updated on twitter as well..

Agreed... He is doing very well early on. Thought Borchert was going to catch fire early, but then went cold just as fast. Can tell he has potential to light it up...

Still being outrebounded slightly and need to do much better on the offensive glass.

Got to either feed Ware more or start making jumpers. Thomas has been nonexistent thusfar.

Troy in all kinds of foul trouble. Got 2 guys with 4 on the floor. Lewis has 4 for us.

We now have a 1-possession game thanks to hustle & defense of MSU in this second half. Will likely be the calling card for this MSU squad. - Matt Stevens

They've called 4 of 5 offensive fouls on us tonight. Seems like we are going to the basket.
