Men among boys tonight. Tenn has taller players that are better athletes too.

Very hard to watch Mississippi State be so helpless in sec play (basketball and football)

He’s not going to have the support of the money guys this next go around. We’re simply waiting for his buyout to reduce after next season. Wish he would’ve landed a job somewhere last year, and he sure tried. But there was a reason nobody poached him

We suck. This is where the portal can go wrong in a big way. Better luck next year

I guess it's easy to blame Jan's. Fire and hire would give everyone hope for a quick fix But I'm really seeing a school (football and basketball) struggling to acquire talent in the NIL era.

Jans coaches well out of conference and forgets everything in sec play? No. The cigar boys better double down and acquire some size and talent. Otherwise, it will be more of the same for the next coach.

However I have a bad feeling... we are getting what we can afford.

I may be one of the few these days that is holding on to a thread of hope that Jans will figure it out next year, but his hit rate in the portal over the last 4 years has to be the worst in P4. It’s abysmal

Jans desperately wanted that Arky job. Not getting it may have wrecked him. Looks doubtful to me that he can recover.

Have to disagree. We paid a million dollars for Ballard. And Hubbard is the highest paid athlete on campus. It’s poor talent evaluation on Jans’ part.

Arkansas decided to spend to get a good roster. Not sure we are committed to that level with basketball.

This could be worse than year 3 Rick Ray. Can’t believe I’m saying that.
Rick Ray won 6 conference games that year. And as bad as we were, I didn’t get as mad about it because as untalented as we were those teams gave it everything they had.

1. I dint think anyone is saying fire jans. At least not many.
2. we can afford better than this. And by all accounts we’re paying for better than this.

Agreed that's a poor decision on Ballard. But 6-10 guys aren't plentiful. I imagine Ballard is what State could get to come to school.

That's just makes me sad and mad at the same time. Is our staff that incompotent? Every time I watch him, it seriously looks like he's never set foot on a court. Can't score, can't rebound, can't protect the paint. And can't set a pick worth a crap.
