but he was also playing with Jason Richardson among a couple other future NBA players and his numbers actually weren't anything jaw dropping if I remember right.

Regardless, I find both their style of play and off the court issues eerily similar. Granted, Zebo probably hasn't touched Sidney's level of laziness at any point in his career, but he has been one step away from being released on multiple occasions throughout his career in spite of all the talent. He's also been labeled a locker room cancer and a black hole on the court by various teams. I don't know what happened when he arrived in Memphis, but he's made some amazing changes. I can remember when Memphis traded for him and all I was thinking about was that it would be nice to have have that $17M come off the books at the end of the 2011 season.

And makes me a little less paranoid about how the basketball team will fall apart this year. Actually, I think we should have a good team. The only huge concern is will Sidney stick around and be an underperforming distraction like he was last year. Now if Dee was bitching, I'd think the season's over before it starts. He's got to be the leader of this team, and he is the leader.

I would pay a decent amount of money for the DVD set for HBO Hard Fouls, Mississippi State Basketball 2011-2012;
