Huskers were up 10-2 early, but NW now boat-racing the big red, up 26-18. Webster and Watson pretty quiet...NW red hot.
NW is shooting the 3's pretty good right now and that is their bread and butter..
Need to defend those 3's better.

NU has chipped away and got back within 4 at the under 4 timeout (26-22). NU might be okay. Watson and Webster have just 2 points each. Morrow got 2 quick fouls so has spent a lot of time on the bench. NW needs to cool off, though. They're hitting a lot of 3's. NU o-fer beyond the arc.
Sounded like they took it a little easy in practice since then but they definitely lack the same energy they had against Iowa.
If they can stay in the game until the end, I am starting to have faith that they can pull it off.

Well...just a run-of-the-mill 14-0 run by the Huskers in the final 1:45. Turn a 10 point deficit into a 4 point half-time lead. Ho-Hum.

Holy schnikies! This place went nuts. Still buzzing.
That run was started by.......Jack McVeigh with a 3 off the bench. Who wouldathunkit? His teammates were all over him after he hit that. Hopefully that builds some confidence for him.
There's definitely some tired looking legs out there but that was just miscommunication after the substitution.
Hopefully it puts some holes in the sails of Northwestern's energy.

Two weeks ago, you could have bet on Nebraska to start 4-0 and Vegas would have had the odds at a million to one!
Haven't won this one yet, but talk about some fun basketball to watch.
Like someone said during the Iowa game, the players are moving without the ball and getting an offense going for once.
After Webster got the steal and the conventional 3 point play to cut it to 4, I was thinking to myself they needed to manage the clock to get 2 for 1 possessions in the final minute to try to cut it to a one possession deficit at the half. But the 14-0 run works, too.
It will be interesting to see if they can keep up the energy given what that Iowa game had to take out of them. Glynn and Morrow really look like they have tired legs.
Well, their next game is against Michigan on the 14th, so they have a few days off that Miles can rest them. No reason they can't stir up some energy to win in regulation today! 
Going to OT today would not be good for our chances to win, but who knows with the way this team has been playing. Hard to count them out.

I hope the young man gets it together and becomes a 3 point threat that he can be. Really feel for him that he is fighting it right now mentally. Then we have ******* fans piling on him at games. He went to check into the game the other night and I heard fans yelling crap a him like, " HEY JACK, TRY NOT TO SUCK" and "HEY JACK, DON'T SHOOT THE BALL". I would have loved to get out of my seat and punched some of them.
