Bottom line, cats shooting much better than we are today.. Morrow getting in foul trouble was a killer early.

The season changed by playing the pups: don't revert back to the rotations that got you in trouble!!!!!!
He hasn't. Glynn is 2/9 from the field and NW is shooting like 60% from 3. Horne did have an injury a while back so maybe that has flared up.

This is a very disappointing loss. No one expected to open 2-0, but once we got there, 4-0 was well within reach. You just hate to give one of those unexpected wins back with a loss at home in a very winnable game.

Just have to steal it back in Evanston.

Northwestern is a very well coached team. Would not be surprised to see them in the Dance.

we'll that sucked. That was one we could have had but man our guys just looked like they didn't have anything left in the tank. IF it hadn't been for Jacobsen and Taylor we would have gotten run out of the gym.

3 and 1 in conference aint bad at all.

How many fans have completely changed their tune since the end of the nonconference? Me for one.

GG Huskers. Lets get a win vs Michigan.

NW has more skill and was the better team. Would be nice to pay them back in Evanston but that's going to be tough. Michigan is in a rut so hopefully we can pull one out vs them. Ohio St and Rutgers should be very winnable.

NW isn't going to shoot like that every night. That was insane. So I guess Miles is an idiot again....
No, but just like the other day Watson seemed like he was on fire...this time NW had some guys, like Law, get hot. It happens. Fine line between a conference win and a conference loss.

Reading comprehension never was your strong suit. You looking for aN E-Fight?
Nah. Just pimpin. HEY. How did you know that? 99th percentile on the ACTs in everything but reading comprehension. :oops:They just said Webster and Watson were 7/25 from the field. Not gonna win many games with those guys both having off nights. Taylor did his best but we needed those guys to at least be average to have a chance with the way NW shot it.

Yes! Fire Miles! This is unacceptable!
I am glad now I did not delete all of my earlier posts calling for his head on a platter. Now if they go on another win streak I reserve the right to be on the Miles bandwagon again.

Outside of Watson having an off game we played well enough to win. I've watched NW quite a few times this year and they are very skilled and have multiple guys who can get hot. Getting Pardon back was big for them.

Seriously, this team has some talent. I don't care about our won/loss record right now. What I am seeing is some of the best basketball played by Nebraska in a very long time. I hope they can keep it going despite today's setback

They're awfully tough to defense with the inside out game they have. Man they've got shooters and Pardon is really strong in the paint. Morrow couldn't handle him at all.

We will see if NW will continue improving the next 2 months to get to the dance. Each of the past 4 years, Chris Collins has improved Northwestern's record. Wikipedia him. He got hired away from Duke's Associate Head Coach position. Things are on an upward trend in Evanston.

Will be good for Miles and the guys to have the next 5 days to rest legs. At Michigan next Saturday.

Recorded the game and watched later in evening, Surprised Webster stayed in the game down the stretch, he literally took two shots to the nose on two separate drives to the bucket, yet, not one foul. His head was snapped back on both.
If you watched closely, Morrow is not one to complain, but he was held, got frustrated, committed his own fouls. NW grabbed his jersey numerous times to keep him from getting rebounds.
Agreed, NW was hitting open 3 pointers and the zone was not working with the hot hands of NW.
