Basketball seating, what is your assigned time

If you have an assigned time by Thursday, I'd think that you would have a good shot a lower level seats. The question is whether they're worth paying the extra $$$. I'm pretty sure that it's still $150-$400 per seat in addition to ticket costs if you want to sit in the lower level. Frankly, I'd rather have center court in the first couple rows of the upper deck than paying extra money for lower level seats behind the basket.

With the way things are going right now, there should be a goodly number of seats behind the goal available tomorrow morning. </p>

Byrne started it as a way to drive increased BC giving. Frankly, I've started looking forward to it.

since somewhere around '06. I don't know all the background to this but at some point around that time, our athletic department realized that we had been giving away premium seats for years to people who had been making nothing more than minimum contributions to the BC. There were a lot of people who had given a decent amount of money in the past to get those good seats, but then they were constantly renewing those seats year after year while giving next to nothing. Therefore, it was decided that there would be an annual re-seating event based on BC priority ranking and if you want to keep your good seats, you have to maintain your ranking by continuing to donate.

I've got nothing against this, but the thing I don't quite understand is why we do basketball one way and then football another way. I get that trying to re-seat 55,000 people every year would be a nightmare, so I'm not suggesting that. But I'm not really sure why we don't just attach a donation value to most seats at the Hump like we do for DWS and then allow people to keep their seats as long as they make the required donation amount every year.

I picked today at 1pm and got the last two seats in section 107 (one in front of the other right in the middle of the section) and a couple seats close by in section 108. But in the past, I always chose front upper level seats to end court lower level. The upper level sideline seats are really pretty good, especially first 7 rows or so. My first season ticket seats years ago were sideline 2nd row from the top (row 13?), and remember just wishing they were 6 rows closer. If there is a surcharge for lower level endcourt and not for upper level sideline, then that makes the choice even easier.<div>
</div><div>It's been said before, but, again, there really are no bad seats in the Hump. Top corner still have a good view and are not too far away. </div>

It's still a great seat and I can stand up during the game to stretch my legs without someone bitching behind me. We sit right by the camera man (who reads books during the games).

I picked yesterday at 1030 and got front row section 128 (sideline center court). There were plenty of lower level seats still available but the only way I would move down is to stay sideline between the time lines. We love the location.
