West Virginia and Arizona will play tomorrow at 3:00 PM ET for third place in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. The game will be on ESPN 2.

I just posted on the Blue Lot about how important today’s game is.

If you get the win today you have a real shot at going on a run until conference play starts.

  • Dec 6 (Fri): Georgetown, Morgantown, W.Va.
  • Dec 10 (Tue): North Carolina Central, Morgantown, W.Va.
  • Dec 14 (Sat): Bethune-Cookman, Morgantown, W.Va.
  • Dec 22 (Sun): Mercyhurst, Morgantown, W.Va

Louisville's guard, who I never heard of, destroyed us yesterday. Caleb Love, who I have heard of and will be in the NBA next season, is today's matchup to watch.

We're going to need a good run before conference play starts. I think we can win today. Also think we can get blown out. Just not deep enough for 3 straight games. But these guys bring it. We need points off the bench.

14-17 / He shot more foul shots than WVU and made more foul shots than WVU shot. WVU as a team 9-12. I get the old saying drive to the basket and get the foul. But call it the same on both ends of the floor. Lot of flops on UL side of the ball.

These kids have never played together and they're just going to get better the more they do. These are exciting times for WVU basketball. To have a three-game stretch like that is not what anyone expected. I would have been happy just to be in every game based on our expectations. WVU Basketball is back!

100% coaching. Team is talented but we've had talent, what we are seeing is good coaching and talent.
